- RLRenee LOct 13, 20255.0I needed to receive Great Clips gift of shaving my head due to my chemotherapy treatment. As you can imagine, this is an emotional service to need. I had mentally geared myself up before walking into the salon, and I was hopeful that the stylist would be kind. Boy oh boy! The stylist (sadly, I didn't catch his name since I was so focused on staying calm and collected) was so thoughtful and so kind. He asked me if I had a preference for how he shaved it to make it easier on me. Did I want to watch or not? As he shaved it, he had a perfect balance of conversation and quiet. And, then at the end, he asked me if I wanted to see it or not without any judgement of my decision. I asked if I could sit there and try to figure out how to tie my head scarf, and he reassured me to take all the time I needed. I am grateful for Great Clips' chemo program. And, I am grateful that he made a hard circumstance less hard. Thank you!
