I'm a guy who opts for a very simple type of styling, but I (apparently) have a challenging hair pattern, with 2 cowlicks in the front. So when I find someone who knows what they're doing, I tend to be a returning client for as long as I can see them. Unfortunately, this person no longer works here. For my most recent visit, I saw a younger girl who told me she could see my previous stylist's notes, so I assumed she knew what she was doing. It looked "OK" when I paid (and tipped!), but when I actually got home and washed my hair I realized it was sub-par. Now that it has grown out, I understand that "sub-par" was a major underestimation... this is, hands-down, the worst haircut of my adult life. Terrible! Unfortunately, on Great Clips' online booking system, there is no way to choose a stylist (so that I can avoid this person) and I'm not trying to call up there every time I need to book an appointment. So, sadly, it looks like I will never go here again. I guess their haircuts are cheap for a reason lol

Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
