  I've been visiting the Charlottesville Bubbles for a few years. Morgan always does a great job cutting my fine, fast-growing hair. She's the perfect mix of friendly without being intrusive. The salon environment is pleasant, all the stylists seem happy and supportive of each other. Highly recommend!

  Stylist was awesome and very friendly, showed an inspiration picture, but personally didn’t feel like it fully delivered kind of felt like The haircut got halfway done and then was over. Just seemed a little overpriced for the result

  All of the staff here are wonderful! No catty attitudes and nothing but love and professionalism from when you walk in the door to the second you leave! I’ve seen Tina and Britt for cuts and color (they remember their clients which I love) and will be a client for life!

  This place has gone downhill in the past several months. I don't know if it's because of management or something else, but a lot of great stylists have left and the quality of service is just not there. The last time I went in for highlights, I got a stylist who seemed freshly out of school. She said she would get me an estimate for the total cost before we started but never did. After putting the color in my hair she said she would be back to check on me in 15 minutes but never did. Finally, a senior stylist came to check on me about 40 minutes after the color went on. Same thing with being rinsed out - a senior stylist finally came to wash me out. I have no idea where my stylist went, or how long the color sat on my hair but it was close to an hour. It seemed like I was an afterthought (even though it did not seem busy in the salon at the time - there were maybe 3 other clients). After a super frustrating and super long appointment I left $200 poorer, with an orange tint on my hair instead of ashy blonde, which is what I asked for. On the left side of my head there is a patch of color that starts about an inch down from my scalp, about an inch wide, that looks like someone's first-ever attempt at highlighting. I know everyone has to start somewhere. But in this situation there was no oversight. No one came to question how long it was taking to sit, or to check on my hair after it was all done, even though it was clear that my stylist was new. There was no quality control or standard of service. I just expect more from a salon that charges what they charge. And I miss the level of expertise they used to have. Sadly, will not be going back.
