- NRNestor Ivan Palacios RamirezApr 6, 20261.0I went to the Pentagon Row location and honestly, this was the worst haircut I’ve ever had in my life. The person who cut my hair finished in about 3 minutes. it felt like she was rushing through it just to move on to the next customer. Do these employees receive any kind of proper training? Because I could have done a better job myself. The cut is uneven and looks terrible, and I honestly don’t even know how to fix it at this point. On top of that, when I got home I had to clean myself up because they didn’t even bother to properly remove the loose hair from my clothes and body. I’m attaching photos so you can see how bad it is. I strongly recommend that no one go to this place.

For I must warn you: the clipping will not be great. I came to this establishment with normal, nay low expectations. How good could a $23 cut be after all in a world where salon cuts cost upwards of $50 for the average woman with mid length hair? Well, I have left with dismal expectations. I should’ve run away when I noticed only men were getting cuts, but I was lured by the thought of defying my expectations. I was asked what I wanted and I requested to my female (👀) stylist that I wanted to simply get layers. She asked if she could trim lightly. I said sure, yes but lightly. Not only did she savagely cut off three to four inches, but each yank of my hair from one side to another to violently clip felt like Genghis Khan pillaging an innocent village. I now look like one of the 90s heartthrob brothers in the band Hanson. I know what you’re thinking: why the hell would you put so much faith in Great Clips and not just go to a salon for women? Are you a fool? I am only human. In a war-ravaged world with ever increasing prices, can’t a woman seek to salvage her faith and place some trust in Great Clips? I was wrong. Men of the community: eh you’ll be fine! My husband loved his cut.

When is Online Check-In available?
Online Check-In becomes available five minutes after the salon opens. We accept Online Check-Ins up to the point where the estimated wait time is as long as the salon will remain open, or 30 minutes before closing time at the latest.
Can I use Online Check-In for all types of services?
Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
