As soon as I walked into the store I waved and said hello one of the workers with curly hair looked at me , rolled her eyes back down, ignored me and continued to work the register. Then it was a shorter lady standing beside her with also short hair who looked like she could have been a manager. She gave me a mugged look and it took her about 2 mins to greet me. I don’t want to jump to conclusions but that moment certainly felt like I was being racially profiled. It was like those ladies looked at me and thought another African American not coming to buy Anything. I actually have mild acne and was coming to look for a cleanser that I thought was in here. I wasn’t being aggravating or asking too much I didn’t even get a word out. This is for the pentagon city mall location.

She was very patient with my mum and I while we were picking a little something (we didn’t want to spend a ton of money) and gave us some samples. It was great!! I always come back here to buy the lavenders and Normal gave me the tip to always spray water on them to enhance de lavender smell in my guest bathroom.
