She asked me how much I would like trimmed and I said "as little as possible, like 1/2 an inch" and said "I want to keep my length" and "not more than one inch" and she repeated back to me "you dont want much taken off" and I said yes. She proceeded to make multiple runs at my hair to the point I left there with about 3 inches less length! I didn't realize it until she showed me it with a mirror at the end. I am so devastated. It's hard to grow my hair at my age now. Why do they do that?!

However, today we walked in in early afternoon and walked out soon after. Wanted haircut for my husband and toddler son. The asian decent man talking to us was just rude. Noone else seemed to notice our presence at all. No “hello” or anything of that sort from anyone. The one person who noticed us was sweeping the floor. His facial expression was like, - why did you come in here at all. He then asked if we registered online, which we denied. He proceeded with what he was doing. We waited a bit. He kept looking back at us almost like waiting for us to leave. As we did not, he finished sweeping and came to the front desk. Asked again if we registered online, which we denied again. He proceeded asking who wanted the haircut and requested (!) a phone number. To which, my husband said he doesn’t want to provide that. The whole interaction was so bizarre and unwelcoming, that we just turned around and walked out. Price is low, but there still should be some customer service. Unhappy veteran on the Veterans’ Day.

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
