However, I was disappointed that I wasn’t informed ahead of time that working with hair extensions would cost more than a regular trim. While I was seated, she asked if I wanted my hair flat-ironed, but never mentioned that these were add-on services. I was completely blindsided at checkout with a $90 bill for a 15-minute appointment that did not include a wash. All she did was trim my ends to make them even, add a few very subtle layers (which I honestly can’t see), and flat-iron my minimal leave-out to help it blend. A regular cut is $30, so being told my total was $90 made me feel taken advantage of. Although Titi did a good job, I won’t be returning because I left feeling misled and disappointed.

I had to point it out until she finally asked for help. Thank goodness the next lady actually knew what she was doing. She stated she had to bring the layers even higher to cover up the first lady's mess up. Mind you, I came in with hair to my lower back and it is now shoulder length due to her inability to get my hair even at the length that was discussed multiple times. Everyone else in the salon seemed very capable, I just seemed to have gotten the one who wasn't.
