Carol did a great job! Awesome haircut and a lovely lady. I made a change while she was cutting my hair and she had no problem with that. Just a very pleasant and professional attitude.

My experience was a positive one with my stylist. Unbeknownst to my stylist and to me, I obviously have an allergy to the tea tree shampoo. After about two hours after leaving the salon my scalp was itching and burning so I had to wash my hair and scrub my scalp. Aside from that, my experience there was great. I plan to return but now know I can’t use the tea tree products and will check to make sure they have just plain shampoo

I scheduled a last minute Saturday afternoon appointment with "the next available stylist" and was so pleased with the results! My stylist, Simenesh, was wonderful! She was friendly, attentive to my requests, and provided one of the best hair cut experiences I've had in a long time. Simenesh did a great job, and I plan to request her as my stylist in the future!

I'm sure there are many good hair dressers there, not Denise. Thank you to woman who tried to fix it the lopsided bangs. I made it to my car before I cried. I found another review of the exact same experience from 3 months ago - why is Denise still working there?! It will take years to grow out what she did

Honestly its been about a month since I got my hair done and I wanted to avoid leaving a bad or negative review but what happened hasn't sat right with me and my head still aches in the spot I was burned. I had to rewrite this review to shorten it. Ive come to this hair cutter 2 times prior and have had positive experiences. I recommend Erica she did my hair, Im a black girl and im not used to stylist in general salons being able to my hair, though what I asked for was relatively simple both times (wash, blow dry, flat iron, ends trim, and curlers) she charged me a more than fair price and did a great job. HOWEVER, when I went on January 10th 2026, she wasn't available and I was on a time crunch and couldn't afford to come back at a later date. So I let Denise do my hair. It was raining really bad that day and as soon as I took my hood off in the shop when it was my turn at the register, the receptionist made a face that told me immediately I was about to get charged out of the butt for having thicker hair, I understand on their website and all but I would expect trained professionals to be able to do my hair regardless. The good: That being said, the two positive things I can say about Denise is as soon as she saw me she showed enthusiasm towards doing my hair and was upfront about the price when I asked her which I do appreciate. The bad: However, though its not her fault that as an older woman shes hard of hearing and has a hearing aid, causing me to repeat myself multiple times, I will fault her with burning me about 6 times with the Flatiron and about 3 times with the BLOW DRYER. Mind you I can accept mistakes being made as were all human but she would immediately begin yaking off an excuse as to why her mistake was totally okay. The second time she burned my head she did it BACK TO BACK on the same section of hair and proceeded to say "Well its a Flatiron theres heat youre gonna get burned." This spot where she burned me is still painful to touch TO THIS DAY. As I mentioned I've been here before had my hair washed and blow dried before but never in my two visits has my stylist dried out my hair to the point of dandruff forming and falling from scalp as my hair is being blow dried. When I pointed this out to her, her first response to say "well what do you want me to do about it?", and then telling me its not dandruff after I advise her to use some sort of oil or gel to rehydrate my scalp as my shoulders are literally covered in my own flakes. I do not have an abnormally dry scalp, this has never happened before. While blow drying she quite literally did not know how to properly blow dry my hair without hurting me. It took another a stylist coming over and explaining and demonstrating for her twice to section my hair and brush each section before blow drying. Even then she was still yanking the hell out of my head as she was using the blow dryer. The service I paid for anyway was supposed to leave my head smooth, frizz free, and silky looking. What I ended with was basically the same look id have if I just blow dried my hair. It is clear to me that she is either not trained properly in doing a black girls hair, or women's hair in general. I dont hate her or anything like that but I expected better, and the fact that my head still hurts is slowly starting to irritate me more and more.
