For every 6 good haircuts he comes out with something crazy on the 7th or 8th. While I understand lots of stylists who work at great clips are fresh out of school and that they don’t have much clipper cut experience typically (I myself am a cosmologist, but no longer work behind the chair), I was shocked that something like this was presented as a finished product. My husband didn’t see the back because the sides and around his ears didn’t look to be touched, and when I showed him this picture he was shocked. He did not want to make a big deal of it since it was fixable, but I insisted he call and let someone know this work had left the building. The person at the store who answered his call was super attentive, kind and was more than happy to help him. We were asked to come back tomorrow and the person in charge would take care of him, this is perfectly adequate and was all we were looking for, however my husband can’t feasibly wear his hat all day at work tomorrow and was really reluctant to leave it until tomorrow evening so we fixed it here at home. While this picture was from the back only, it was all I needed to take in order to show the haircut because the cut hair stopped before you got to the ears and wasn’t cut anywhere around his ear, in front of it or directly behind it. So overall, 3 stars. Plenty of experience with perfectly good hair cuts and convenient to stop in as you’re able to, but the major lack of consistency or dependability force me to only rate 3 stars. Once again, we were very pleasantly surprised with the reaction and willingness to help and solve our issue given by the salon staff on the phone, but clearly this stylist needs some training with clipper cuts as a whole and hopefully she has that provided to her before too many people have poor experiences.
