She cut my hair in about 5 minutes, so I was suprised it was done so fast. Looking at my hair after, I realized the sides and the back were uneven. The top also looks rough. I wouldn't recommend going to this Great Clips.
- NDNeya DemonDec 17, 20251.0I usually don’t leave reviews but I was really upset by my recent visit to Orem’s Greatclips. I usually have a good experience at any Greatclips location. I asked the stylist for my wavy hair to be shorter and to touch up my bangs. I noticed something was off by the way she was cutting it but decided to trust the process. After I left, I still felt something was off but I thought it was due to my curls. I straightened my hair this morning and found the ends of my hair were super uneven. The front was shorter than the back and my face framing layer in the front was much longer than the rest of my hair. My bangs were also extremely choppy. I was super upset because I’ve never had any issues with my curly hair in the past, this is genuinely the first bad haircut I’ve had. I also told her I wanted to keep the blonde dye on my bangs that goes to my roots as much as we could but she cut me off and laughed, saying we wouldn’t be cutting THAT much. I felt like she thought I was stupid in that moment, because of course I know that we aren’t going to be shaving my hairline, I just was trying to explain I only wanted a trim on my bangs. It was super frustrating because my hair is important to me and it was botched. Luckily I went to the Greatclips in Spanish fork and the lady was nice and fixed my hair before my trip with my boyfriend. Customers be wary and trust your instincts if something doesn’t feel right

I don't appreciate the long lines or unreasonable appointment times in barber shops and this really works for me. The ladies who work there are very nice as well. Totally recommend, unless you're rich and can afford a custom 5-star celebrity salon style haircut.

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
