  I'm a member at GOAT and want to be a member of Hammer and Nails instead, but I live in Syracuse, UT. Due to the higher membership cost, I can't justify leaving GOAT yet. But once a Hammer and Nails salon opens in Davis County, I'll the first customer there. The demographics between the cities of Farmington, Layton, Syracuse, and Roy as well as thousands who commute daily to Hill Air Force Base would almost guarantees a high revenue for a salon in Davis County. I'd even be willing to invest in a franchise opportunity there. 💪

  I’ve been to some of the highest end shops in Utah. I’m talking the super boujee ones in Salt Lake City. This place blew those all out of the water. Bret gave me a super crispy and detailed taper, and Natasha gave me a super relaxing and refreshing pedicure. They start you out with a non alcoholic drink of choice, and I didn’t like my first one and they happily gave me a different one. I was astonished at how welcoming they all were. You gotta try this place out, for everything, pedicure, manicure and men’s haircut. It’s all worth it. I was concerned they’d be super sales-y with their memberships, and they did mention them and ran me through them, and it didn’t feel pushy at all. Not sales-y at all in my opinion, just offering what they can give! Superb experience.

  Very happy they are open and glad I found this place. It definitely had an upscale feeling. I liked the vibe. Was greeted when i walked in. Offered a drink while I waited. Michonne was great. We talked baseball, Go Dodgers. Haircut and shave was exactly what I wanted and it was wife approved. I look forward to trying out the other services. I’m sure with every new company there will be hiccups, that’s expected, but I’ll be around for awhile. Men need more places like this. 👍🏼 the only constructive criticism I’d give is ditch the chamber music. Would love some classic rock, Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney, Zach Brown Band, etc. 👍🏼👊🏼🙏🏼

  This barbershop delivers a truly high-end, relaxing experience. The atmosphere is calm and refined, with thoughtful details that make you feel comfortable right away. The staff are skilled, attentive, and take the time to get everything just right without rushing. The haircut is precise and polished, and the added touches—like the hot towel, and mocktails, make it feel more like a spa visit than a routine appointment. You leave looking sharp and feeling refreshed. A top-tier spot for both quality and experience.

  Hammer & Nail recently opened and positioned itself as an elevated grooming experience for men, which is exactly what draws people toward their membership. Unfortunately, the execution didn’t match that promise. From the start, it was clear the staff wasn’t fully trained or prepared for opening day. First impressions matter, and the experience felt disorganized and unstructured. I waited over 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, despite having booked in advance online. What makes this more frustrating is their strict policy around missed appointments, where customers are penalized if they are late or do not show. It sets a standard where your time is expected to be respected, but that same level of respect was not returned. Overall, I didn’t even end up getting a haircut, and I left feeling like I did not receive what I paid for. I requested an immediate cancellation of my membership and do not plan to use their services again.
