She helped her feel comfortable and didn’t rush her feelings at all! I will definitely be coming back! The studio was also super cute, clean and inviting!

- BPBriAnne PreeceDec 18, 20252.0TL; DR expensive and make sure you’re happy with your placement/angle before 30 days I went to Rowan about 3 months ago. I have really mixed feelings about the experience. The initial appointment was great (although more expensive than anticipated). They were kind and everything was super clean. It made me feel good about my choice of piercing studio. Helix piercings can be tricky so it was important to me to pick an experienced studio. However, my helix piercing is not perpendicular to my ear and it’s causing issues with healing. The piercer never mentioned this to me at the time or when I came back to have the post changed out. It seems like for the level of professionalism they advertise they should have been more transparent about this. I can hardly see the side of my head very well. I trusted them, and I should have been more skeptical. The angle is causing the earring to be pushed up and it’s just not healing well. I consulted with the nurse online which is actually a really great service. They told me there was nothing they could do to refund or re do it because it has been more than 30 days, but it is a friction bump due to the angle. At this point I felt left hung out to dry. They could have said something when I consulted the nurses in the first 30 days but I didn’t know it was so crooked or I would have raised a concern. Due to poor piercing it’s not going to heal and there is nothing they are going to do about it. For the premium prices I paid it just feels like poor costumer service. They had opportunities to point this out and they didn’t. I’m in this over $300 and will probably have to take the piercing out and start over. So mixed feelings overall and just some things to consider when choosing this studio. The second lobe piercings went great and I’m happy with them.

Been having irritation everyday since so this December I went to a different place asking what to do to fix the pain and irritation. They told me the person who pierced it, pierced the cartilage at an angle causing the earring to face upwards not forward. Also caused me to have an abscess due to the way the earring pressed on my ear, had to have it drained. Was also told it was incorrectly too high for a helix. Most likely can’t wear an earring there again with a high chance of another abscess forming.
