- KKKenobiMay 2, 20261.0I visited this Great Clips location on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, around 11:00 AM. I was probably their first customer of the day. There was no one else in the salon, no wait time, and only one male hairstylist working. I have been visiting this salon for the past 6 years and have never had an experience like this before, which made this visit even more disappointing. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst haircut experiences I’ve had. The hairstylist was extremely rough throughout the session and seemed rushed, despite having no other customers waiting. He cut off my sideburns and left the back square without consulting me or asking how I wanted them styled. I prefer my sideburns a bit long and back rounded. By the time I noticed, he was already halfway through, so there was little I could do. Most concerning, I ended up with visible cuts on the back of my neck from the trimmer. The area was red, inflamed, painful, and still irritated 12 hours after the haircut. A basic haircut should not leave a customer physically uncomfortable or injured. Overall, the service felt careless, rushed, and unprofessional. This level of service is unacceptable for a professional salon. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location.

I accidentally left a larger tip than I intended after my haircut, and when I reached out about it, the team handled it with complete professionalism and kindness. They refunded the extra amount promptly and even gave it back in cash, neatly prepared in an envelope, which I truly appreciated. A special thank you to Manager Connie for taking the initiative and making sure everything was handled so smoothly. It’s not every day you come across such honesty and great customer care. This experience really reinforced my trust in this salon. Great service, great people—I’ll definitely keep coming back!

I drove over and when I got there a sign on the door said it was closed for the next 40 minutes. The barber inside just pointed at the sign and then his watch. I continued to receive text message updates telling me to walk right. I understand there can be reasons to close the store, but please communicate with the customer when that happens.

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
