- ABAlyssa BSep 6, 20261.0I’m a Rouge member so I spend a good amount of money at Sephora. I was specifically looking for a pale pink blush & found a tester that looked perfect but it was seemingly old and oxidized. I opened an unsealed blush to see if the actual shade matched (sadly it didn’t) without touching the product or damaging the packaging. Instead of simply explaining their policy, an odd employee scolded me, took the blush from my hands, and angrily destroyed it in front of us. The interaction was so uncomfortable that even the other employees at checkout seemed shocked. Honestly, if the product was ruined from me looking at the shade then ideally it could have replaced the old tester lol We still made our purchase but I left feeling so weird about the interaction. I called afterward she wouldn’t give her name but she was a lead, looked around 40. Though the Kohl’s manager was very kind, apologetic, and took it seriously which I really appreciate
