  Piercing was fine. It was expensive, but as advertised. Everything was clean and done well. One complaint was with the front desk staff at this location. When we arrived for our scheduled appointment instead of asking who was accompanying my daughter, the front desk staff immediately assumed I was not the legal guardian and insisted I have proof of this. We drove 45 minutes to almost not be able to get the piercing because of her assumption. I asked if they ask everyone for this and she said no. If it is policy to have to bring a birth certificate etc, this needs to be adequately explained and communicated clearly. It was not a good start to our appointment, and we will unlikely be back.

  Both ladies we worked with were fantastic and friendly! One gal was working the “sales” portion of the store and she took her time explaining everything and answering our questions even though they were pretty busy. Then, the same treatment from the nurse who did the piercing. She was kind, funny, and prepared us for what to expect. She explained the after care thoroughly. It was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend Rowan at Brookfield Corners.

  Not walk-in friendly. The website clearly encourages walk-ins but we were not welcomed. The shop wasn’t packed. There were 2 other parties there. We walked in at 11am and were told we couldn’t be seen till 5pm at the earliest. Said there was no way to be seen until then because that’s when the first appointment was. I mentioned the website welcomed walk ins and they basically refused to do a walk-in. I checked and there were earlier appointments available. They also didn’t even try to get us in between appointments or in case there was a lul or cancellation. We opted to go elsewhere.

  Had an awesome experience getting our 5 year old daughter’s ears pierced! Nurse Tammy treated her respectfully and explained the whole process so she could understand. The environment is so uplifting and is an inviting place to get ears pierced! Thanks for helping us to make great memories!

  **Very disappointing experience** I drove **40 minutes with my 5-year-old** specifically to come to this business because I had scheduled an appointment online ahead of time, assuming they would have enough staff to do a tandem piercing. Unfortunately, when we arrived, they only had one piercer. The piercer also did not seem particularly comfortable working with a young child. My daughter became scared and ultimately wasn't able to go through with the piercing. Afterward, we were told that because the earrings had already been opened, we would still have to pay the **$60 for the earrings**. I understood and agreed to that. We then scheduled another appointment a few days later for the tandem piercing. So, we drove **another 40 minutes** back to the business, only to be told when we arrived that they could not use the earrings we had already purchased and that we would need to buy **another $60+ pair**. I completely understand the need to use sterile earrings for a piercing. **What I do not understand is why this was never communicated to us.** This could have easily been explained when we rescheduled the appointment, which would have saved us another 80-minute round trip. The front desk staff was also rude and unhelpful throughout the experience, which made an already frustrating situation even worse. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. For a business working with young children, I expected much better communication, customer service, and consideration for the time and effort families are putting into getting there. **I would not recommend this place and will not be returning.**
