  It had been about 8 months since I last gotten a haircut. I came in with a head full of wildly overgrown curly hair and left looking like a new man. Autumn was very engaging throughout the whole service, giving me ideas, asking for my opinions, and explaining what she was doing every step of the way. I couldn't recommend her and Salon Citi enough!

  my hair was ruined by salon CTI. back in october, i had booked an appointment with lori for a curly hair specific haircut. my curl pattern before my haircut was BEAUTIFUL, i loved it so much. i was just hoping to get some split ends off, reduce frizz and to have a couple face framing pieces. i specified this to lori, showed her pictures of my hair normally (i came in with it tied up in a ponytail and very frizzy) and also made it very clear that i only diffused my hair occasionally, i liked the low maintenance of letting it air dry. i was very firm in what i was looking for and i emphasized how much i loved my curl pattern. i had just figured out i had naturally curly/wavy hair less than two years prior and was very happy i finally mastered my routine, it was just a bit frizzy at times and i was hoping to reduce that. lori went ahead and told me i should get a butterfly haircut. she showed me a picture of a butterfly haircut on curly hair and i liked the shape so i agreed. i had no idea what i was getting into, but the hairstylist knows best, after all. what i was not told is that i would have several very short layers that would entirely erase my curls completely. also, she didn’t tell me that the only way i could style my hair to get even a little bit of curl was to diffuse it and spend two hours after a shower styling it. air drying a butterfly haircut is a disaster. i’d have to use a flat iron to recurl several pieces and apply a ton of heat and hairspray. and my hair would fall flat midway through the day. in the pictures shown, the first two are of my hair now, if i spend almost two hours diffusing, recurling, and styling it. i rarely style my hair like this anymore because of how much work it is, so now my beautiful curls are just straight hair. the second two pictures are my hair before the haircut. gorgeous ringlets that could air dry beautifully. it’s been almost seven months since my haircut and i grieve my curls every day. i’ve cried over my hair so many times, i miss it so much. hairstylists always talk about how your hair is apart of your identity and how important it is. lori took away that part of me without my consent. hair IS a big deal and i am so incredibly sad about the loss of my curls. i have been letting the layers grow out ever since but its still straight and nowhere near what it was. i dont know how long its going to take for all of the layers to grow out so its back to how it was, or if it’ll ever be what it used to be. i would do anything to go back in time and not go to this appointment. also, this was a CURLY haircut appointment. yet i left the salon with temporary styling and no more curl pattern. the fact that i am writing this review seven months later should be very telling as to how angry and sad i am about my hair. to wrap this all up, don’t go to lori if you want your curls to stay intact. i will honestly never forgive salon CTI for ruining my beautiful curls.

  Autumn did a fantastic job on my hair cut! I came in not really knowing what I wanted and gave her free rein, and I could not be happier with the cut she gave me! All of the staff was very nice and welcoming, great experience!

  Autumn did a partial highlight on me and did a great job! She fixed the yellow brass in my hair and made it blonder. She did exactly what I wanted and was super sweet. I totally recommend going to her!

  Liz was fantastic!! She listened carefully to my hair routine and hair goals, asked questions to narrow down my preferences, and checked in regularly while working to make sure I was comfortable with her progress. She was friendly, warm, and genuine, as well as knowledgeable of different products to help style my fine, straight hair! She gave me the curtain bangs I’ve been dreaming of, tailored to my natural part and texture. 😍 All other staff I interacted with were also friendly! Thank you Salon CTI!!
