  I went with my daughter to get her hair cut before she went back to college. The sign on the door said "$12 haircuts kinder-college and teachers ". My daughter wanted a cut just below the shoulders with layers to thin it out. The lady was bitchy and rude during the whole cut. She repeatedly asked if my daughter was sure she wanted it but that short. She didn't think it or put any layers in it but by that time my daughter was fed up and just ready to pay and leave. When we went to pay the lady informed us that my daughter could not get the discount price because she wasn't a kid. I explained that she was a college student and had her I'd with her and that her sign states that it is for students through college. She got snotty and huffy about it and stated that she would check with the manager who was behind us cutting someone's hair. She then came back and said that the manager refused to honor the sign also. So end of story my daughter had a horrible experience, ended up with uneven and unthinned out hair that she didn't want and had to pay$50 for it instead of $12. Needless to say we are now out more money to go somewhere else and get it fixed. Terrible customer service! And corporate needs to change their sign if they are not going to honor it!

  My daughter went in wanting to have blonde hair after she already had box hair dye, red hair, and color oops treatment at home. Lydia was amazing and up for the challenge. Confidently she worked on her hair for 4 hours and got it to turn out amazing and just what my daughter wanted! Thanks to her my daughter had her hair blonde for her graduation! We totally recommend Lydia for anyone seeking help with box dye hair or even just getting hair done in general!!

  Lydia did such an awesome job cutting my hair. She cut off probably 6-8” and I was really nervous getting a bob. But she did such a rocking job. I love it. I would recommend JCpenny hair to anyone, and I would go back there. Good price, kind qualified service.
