  Jess is great, she cares about what you want and gives her honest opinion rather it will work for you or not. Utopia is awesome and if you are looking for a great cut give them a call!!

  I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Utopia Salon, and based on how they handled my complaint, I honestly feel this salon is more about the money than making things right. I paid $200 for hair color with Anastasiya. Before the appointment and several times in person, I made it very clear that I wanted chocolate brown with NO red or orange tones. Anastasiya repeatedly assured me it would NOT have those tones. Instead, my color came out very uneven—the top/root area was so dark it looked almost black, while the rest pulled obvious red/warm and even violet tones. I’m including photos taken in different lighting right after the color service so people can see how differently the uneven color, red/violet tones, and extremely dark top showed up. I contacted the salon the very next day and sent them a photo. They then told me Anastasiya said she had told me the color would have underlying red tones. That is the exact opposite of what she told me to my face. She repeatedly assured me it would NOT have those tones, so for her to tell the salon something different afterward was dishonest and a lie. Instead of offering to correct it, I was told a tone would start at another $90. After already paying $200 for a color I specifically said I did not want, asking me to pay even more to correct it was ridiculous. Only after I said I would leave a review did they ask me to come back in to “discuss options,” and even then they never clearly said they would fix it for free. At that point, I had completely lost trust in Anastasiya and the salon. Mistakes happen, but changing the story afterward and asking for more money instead of standing behind your work is unacceptable. I will not be returning and cannot recommend Utopia Salon. UPDATE: It’s interesting that the salon is now presenting what Anastasiya supposedly told me during my consultation as fact, when no one else was present for that conversation. I was the one sitting in her chair, and I clearly remember telling her multiple times that I did not want red or orange tones. She repeatedly assured me my hair would not have those tones. That is why I find their response so concerning it directly contradicts what I was told during my appointment.

  I had a terrific experience at Utopia. I had never seen Olga before but she did an amazing job with my highlights and listened to everything I was asking for. The assistant gave me the best shampoo and scalp massage that I’ve ever had. Highly recommend Olga and Utopia Salon.

  I asked for layers refresh and some thinning. I told the stylist that I have thick dense hair and she noticed that while looking at my hair and inspecting it. When I went home to wash my hair and style it like I usaully do, I noticed that the first layer of my hair was completely cut off, the top part of my head was very short layers and the rest of the second layer of my hair past my neck was just one big long length. This whole cut not only looked discombobulated and disconnected but the top part of my head looked puffy while the bottom just lay flat and disconnected with no layers whatsoever. My whole hair is just chopped up when all I wanted was some simple maintenance. My hair already had guide layers in it all she had to do was follow that but she chopped most of my hair off and I couldn't even tell because she did a blow dry style that hid all that. Garbage salon, garbage service and I'm never coming back to this place they only cater to old white people. The lady's name is Earl who did this style, but I assume most of their stylists are just like that because I saw another lady with beautiful long hair come in there and when she was finished her hair was all chopped up and awkward.

  I had Sofia today for the first time. As soon as I sat in the chair she was asking all the right questions. She listened to What I hoped to achieve and review a couple of pictures I showed her of styles. First off let me say the young lady who washed my hair was amazing. I received a great massage along with my wash. Then I went back to Sofia and she worked her magic! I walked in with flat lifeless hair and walked out with healthy, shiny hair FULL of body!! She has a new regular client! Thank you to both of the people who worked on my hair today!!
