    Recently visited this location and was helped by the sweetest kindest most genuine employee - Pretty sure her name was Kären, and I remembered because it was so unique - I was there to get new skin care products for myself, and get something for my mom as well - Kären was able to recommend some really high quality but affordable skin care products that I've been using (and loving) , and was also able to recommend some good makeup brands to get for my mom! I was absolutely floored by her knowledge and awareness of brands and their strengths + weaknesses and her kind demeanor about it all (I know how stressful customer service can be) - I will be coming back to this location strictly because of Kären , and Sephora should thank her for that!

    I visited Sephora because I wanted help choosing a lip liner and getting some advice. I explained to the consultant that I wasn’t familiar with lip liner shades and would appreciate help finding the right color and learning how to properly define my lips. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I approached the consultant in a friendly manner and politely asked for assistance, but she seemed irritated from the start. Instead of helping me, she simply walked me over to the lip liner display, told me to choose one myself, and then walked away. This was especially disappointing because on a previous visit, another Sephora consultant helped me choose a foundation shade, explained everything thoroughly, and provided excellent recommendations. As a result, I had to choose a lip liner on my own. Later, I asked the same consultant for a sample of a specific shade, but she wrote down the wrong shade number, which led me to purchase the wrong color. That same evening, I found out that my mother had also shopped at this location and was assisted by the same employee. According to my mother, the consultant also seemed unhappy to help and ended up giving her the wrong perfume. I always try to be polite and respectful when interacting with store employees, so I do not understand why we were treated this way. Once I learn the employee’s name, I will update this review. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as my previous experiences with Sephora have been much more positive.

    Very disappointing experience. I came to Sephora specifically to buy Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Gold. Because the Gold and Silver versions have very similar packaging, I asked the associate THREE times if she was sure she had the Gold version. Each time she said, “Yes.” What stood out most was her attitude. She seemed visibly irritated by my questions and acted like she wanted the interaction to be over as quickly as possible. I felt like she wasn’t listening to me at all. And that became obvious when she sold me the wrong fragrance. What frustrates me even more is that the mistake could have been caught at checkout. The Gold version I wanted was about $147, while the Silver version she scanned was about $116. I had already discussed the price, so the difference should have been an immediate clue that something was wrong. Instead, she rushed through the transaction without paying attention to what she was actually selling me. When I returned, another associate’s response was basically, “It happens, the boxes look alike.” Exactly. That’s why I asked three times. If this had been a gift, I could have wrapped it, given it away, and only discovered the mistake later. Then I would have been stuck making another trip and dealing with an unnecessary return because nobody could be bothered to double-check the product. People make mistakes. What bothered me was the lack of attention, the irritated attitude, and the complete indifference from both associates.

    I recently had a professional makeup service done at Sephora near Riverfront in Spokane with Lexi, and she was absolutely incredible. Not only were her makeup skills amazing, but she was also so fun and easy to work with. She taught me helpful tips and tricks, explained different products, and really made the whole experience enjoyable and comfortable. She honestly helped set the tone for my entire night. I received so many compliments on my makeup throughout the evening, and I was shocked that it still looked flawless when I got home nearly 10 hours later. Before this appointment, I had little to no interest in getting back into makeup, investing in better products, or taking professional lessons to learn new techniques. That has completely changed after my interaction with Lexi. She made makeup feel fun and approachable again, and I’m already planning on booking a training session with her in the future. Highly recommend!
