Glossier Seattle is such a fun and aesthetic spot—definitely worth a visit whether you’re a longtime fan or just getting into their products. The store design is super clean and modern, with that signature Glossier vibe that makes everything feel effortless and Instagram-worthy.
The staff is friendly, approachable, and really helpful without being overbearing. They’re great at giving recommendations based on your skin type and what kind of look you’re going for, which makes the whole experience feel personal.
I love that you can actually test everything in-store before buying—it makes a big difference, especially for products like foundation, blush, and skincare. The layout is easy to navigate, and everything is well organized so you can take your time exploring.
Overall, it’s not just a place to shop—it’s a whole experience. If you’re in Seattle and into beauty or skincare, Glossier Seattle is definitely worth checking out.

My sister was visiting me from London, so I took her to the Glossier store in Capitol Hill. She was especially excited, as she’s been a loyal customer for years and actually introduced me to the brand. The store itself is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, the customer service didn’t match the experience.
At first, I didn’t think much of it, but after a while I realized that no one had greeted us or offered assistance. We spent about 20 minutes in the store, during which I noticed other customers being welcomed and helped almost immediately.
We were eventually assisted by someone from the pickup area who came out from the back, while two floor staff members were chatting with each other. Only after that did another staff member approach me to ask if I needed help.
While the associate who helped us was polite, the interaction felt somewhat awkward. As we were discussing blush shades, she mentioned that certain colors look “different on certain people” rather than referring to skin tones. I understood what she may have been trying to convey, but phrasing it this way felt off and highlights the importance of using clear and inclusive language when assisting a diverse range of customers.
By that point, my sister and I felt quite uncomfortable, and I almost decided to leave without making a purchase.
It’s a bittersweet experience - I love the products I bought, but the in-store experience wasn’t great. Unfortunately, I’ll likely stick to ordering online moving forward.
