  I’ve gone here twice for a haircut and was satisfied both times by this lovely lady named Gloria. This time, I thought she would be there, but when I went to check the website to schedule an appointment, she was not listed. I read the descriptions of each hairstylist, which unfortunately weren’t very accurate, and chose one that I thought would cut my hair nicely, but I was wrong. The experience itself wasn’t bad, but when I was explaining what I wanted and showing pictures to the hairstylist, I didn’t feel like she was really listening to me, and sadly, I was right. I asked for a layered bob, but when I came home and washed my hair, I realized it did not look good. Instead, I got a very blunt cut with no layers. My hair on one side also does not look the same as the other side. I’m very upset with my experience, especially because now I’ll have to wait for my hair to grow back before I can fix it. I really wish my expectations had been listened to, especially since I showed pictures of exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be coming back unless Gloria is there. She did an amazing job both times I came before, and I wish I could have had her cut my hair again.

  I originally came in just for a haircut, but Angela noticed my oily scalp and recommended a scalp treatment, which I’m so glad I added! I also ended up getting a money piece and peekaboo highlights/color. Angela was amazing and very informative throughout the whole process, explaining what she was doing and the purpose of each product she used. I really appreciated how much care and time she put into my hair. Definitely top-notch service and a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for a good hair day! 💇🏻‍♀️✨❤️

  Do not plan to return. Was very disappointed with my service. This was my first and will be only visit. I had spent time reading the bios to select my hairdresser, and intentionally selected because the bio made it sound like there would be some consultation of my hair. A discussion that would help the stylist understand my needs. Never happe ed. I was ushered to their hair washing station immediately. I was a bit taken back, hit thought, ok we will talk afterwards. Nope. Asked briefly "how do you want you hair cut" while being pushed into the sink. Started to explain and was cut off abruptly about how layers would be added. I mentioned some health issues which lead to some hair loss and was asked "what was wrong". Don't think that was necessary, but I explained a bit more. No more questions were asked. I was then ushered to the seat, and all that was stated was that she would need to take some of the length off. I agreed, bit then was speechless when the stylist just tapped my back. And asked, that ok? I said yeah, but how much does that take off, an inch? 2? She responded: oh, you want it left long? Me: well, I like it longer, to still out up in a nice pony... (and then i was cut off with a yeah, yeah) and proceeded to start hacking at my hair. I spent the rest of the hair cut trying not to cry. (And this was before the comment about:how did i make it this far in life without a husband). This had been my first haircut in 5 months. My struggle with hair loss had me really reticent to go to a new hair salon, bit I thought I had researched enough and was prepared to have a discussion. The stylist was more interested about discussing my lack of a husband and why I wasn't married or had kids then discussing my hair needs. She kept hacking away at the hair I had tried to keep for over a year. It was all I could do to not breakout in tears. The whole awful experience lasted 21 minutes. Felt like i was inconvenienceing her with my presence. Was both the shortest haircut and longest experience in my life. I will never return to this salon. I suggest the salon review and update the bios to more accurately reflect your stylists. I felt misled by them and regret that I select this salon and the stylist for what was a pretty important haircut for me. Also, would recommend that the staff review what is considered appropriate conversation topics/follow up. I dont know how questioning someone's life choices factors into giving someone a haircut. When i wasn't even asked any questions that do matter (what was I looking for, what my morning routine, hiw long since my last haircut, upkeep...REALLY ANYTHING HAIR RELATED) any other questions are not needed. I also felt forced to give a 20% tip. The checkout is done by the stylist (she didn't even initially pull up my appointment, pulled up someone else and turns to me to say, oh...we were supposed to do a color?) And just wanted to leave the horrible experience quickly, I felt like I had to select 20%. I kept giving the stylist the benefit of doubt...first time here, so I kept thinking oh we will chat and then when it was too late- 6 inches of hair quickly cut off. I was stunned into silence. I am hoping for quick hair growth so I can try to start forgetting the entire experience. The 1 star is just for the location. Place was clean and well kept.
