    Christine was my barber! She handled me with care, professionalism and has great massage hands for my scalp while washing my hair. She cut my hair beautifully and it still looks good 2 weeks later! I plan to return whenever l’m in Virginia Beach.

    I have a before and after picture, but I went to Onyx and she genuinely did me right. I’ve never been so happy with a cut before and she was so nice and patient too. As a professional cosmetologist I’m not confident in cutting the back of my own hair 😅 but she truly did an amazing job!!

    Everyone was so friendly and it was easy to make an appointment! Onyx cut all 3 of my girls hair. She was so patient and sweet. Their hair also looks amazing!

    I will not be returning. I went there to get my oldest two children’s haircut and had my toddler with me as well. Unfortunately, my toddler got restless from waiting and started screaming and crying. One of the hair dressers, I’m assuming it was the manager based on her demeanor, told me that I needed to leave because my toddler couldn’t scream and disturb her other clients- there were 2 other clients in the store. I was so embarrassed and upset. She told my son’s hair dresser to hurry and wrap up his cut so that we could leave. I was speechless, I’ve never been treated so poorly as a mother. I paid for their haircuts and we left. The women that actually cut my children’s hair were so nice and very sweet but this other woman ruined our entire experience.
