Received the worst hair cut I’ve ever had. What should have taken 25 minutes to get my hair cut and paid for took almost two hours. The stylist was not prepared with proper tools nor her station set up, even though I made a reservation. The cut itself is choppy, uneven, and not blended. Random pieces were left too long and there are visible uneven layers in the back Paying was a nightmare, it took the stylist and manger to get straight. But the manager wanted to argue over the discount I had been sent. The biggest waste of two hours and money for a haircut I have to get fixed elsewhere.

From the moment I walked in the employees were disorganized, There were 3 stylists standing around and 3 people waiting. After waiting for them to sort out who was going where I told the stylist I wanted a 3 on top high and tight. She then proceed to cut my hair and did not use trimmers on top. I politely told her I would like it shorter and a number 3. She still did it by hand and told me she does not use the trimers on top because she was "following how my hair grows" I said okay I guess. I have had my hair cut the same way for years and have never had it done that way. Needless to say it looked horrible. I wanted to say something else but she was trying to finish up while arguing with a coworker about who she had next and if she had time. So I just paid the $30! It cost for my bad haircut and left. I would not recommend.

Attention: The Client titled The Imperfectionist Influencer** I recently received a review on the Hair Cuttery page indicating that I struggle with short haircuts and recommending that clients avoid my services. While I don't claim to be the best hairstylist in the area, I certainly don't consider myself the worst either. After over 30 years in the industry, I take pride in my customer service and my skills as a hair colorist and cutter. If anyone has concerns during their appointment, I encourage them to speak up right away rather than wait two weeks to post online about their experience. ***My mission is to help everyone feel as beautiful as they look.*** The young lady who left the review is a lovely African-American woman with short natural hair. If she were unhappy with her haircut, I would have been more than willing to address any issues during her visit; solutions could have been found in an hour. I truly regret that she was dissatisfied with her hair, but I wish she had spoken up at the time. I recall that she was here for a conference and wanted her hair to look nice. And doing short hair is what I do all day. But I understand I am not for everyone These are just a couple of short haircuts and colors that I have done over the years

I came in as a walk in. I am a person of color with a pixie cut and spoke to someone who said they can do pixie cuts and styles. I was in town for an event and I needed to have my hair touched up because of the heat and pollen. My hair was actually not in bad shape but the weather was not letting me be great! The stylist was Chante. She did a good job washing my hair but she did not mold it AT ALL- which is the key to a pixie cut. When I asked her if she could do it, she confidently said yes and she had a short hair cut so of course I believed her. I also saw her pictures on Facebook and it appears like she can do short hair. 😠 That was indeed not the case. After I got from under the dryer she then blew dry my hair. 🥴🤯 Neverrrrr has this method been done and this is a lot of heat damage. On top of the fact that the hair was not properly molded and my hair is natural. After she proceeded to blow out the hair she then pulled out the Marcel curling iron (my hair does not require that level of heat) spraying my hair with holding spray and then starting using a flat iron. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair and it translated to something else that looked like a puffy joke. I wanted to leave out with tears. She also charged like $75 or something and the results did not match for that price. I had to be somewhere at 6pm and left around 3. I ended having to mold my own sides and re curl my hair because the sides and top looked hideous. I would try another stylist in there just not her. I’m sorry she didn’t know how to do a proper pixie. I saw another stylist that looks like she can mold a pixie so if I ever go back I will check her out.
