  Staff are not attentive to customers. Customers either wait at the register for assistance or spend a long time waiting for a professional advisor while staff members talk and laugh among themselves.

  Mubah and Sara are spectacular!!!! They spent a lot of time with me— diligently finding the right products to fit my complexion and showed me some great techniques on how to apply the makeup. I am so thankful for their time, care, skill, and precision. Highly recommend them for any questions on makeup. Thank you both so much :)

  I just had an encounter with a rude employee. She was older with black hair and glasses. I was at the Rhode display and everything was out of stock so I decided to check the lower drawer. She approaches me and asks what I’m looking for. I kindly respond and say that I’m looking for under eye patches she quickly responds with a “we don’t have that” and kicks the lower drawer shut and walks away. Doesn’t even care to look. I also wanted the toasted blush that was also out of stock on the display but I saw that they had more in the lower drawer. Since she was near by I asked her about the blush and once again she quickly responded with a we don’t have that. I told her I just saw extra in the lower drawer and only then does she care to open it and hand it to me. Very rude way to handle this situation. I wanted to keep browsing and buy more things but I felt uncomfortable so I just checked out and left.

  The Reston location is small but the selection is very good. The customer service is to be desired. The only employee that stopped to ask if I needed help was Clare. She was very informative. I went in completely bare faced but I used to be a rouge member when I worked for a job that required me to get more dressed up. I was planning on buying my products from this location since I live in Reston but I’m going to see if I get better customer service at Ulta or the Tyson’s location instead.

  I stopped by to smell lots of new fragrance releases today and I felt right at home. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Some of the new fragrances were in the back being prepared to become testers and the staff went to the back to get them for me. There was no pressure to buy which is a HUGE plus. When I decide which scent I liked the most, I’ll be heading back to this location to make my purchase. The team here really set the tone for my shopping day.
