  I first came to PR Partners with a problem -- hair loss due to an upsetting personal event. Eric de la Torre had just moved to the area, and I met with him initially needing hair help and, frankly, some kindness. Eric was, and still is, just an amazing stylist and human being. He was incredibly gentle, kind, and caring when I explained my situation, patiently let me show him photos of what my hair used to look like before everything fell apart, and he mapped out a strategy for how we could bring my hair back to life. He did a terrific job, right off the bat, and that has continued to do so. He is a very empathetic and caring person, who gives the client time and energy. He tries to understand and interpret what I am trying to do with my hair, even if I give him conflicting ideas. He knows hair really well and has done a great job working with my hair's texture. His cuts are excellent, enhanced by his knowledge of products, which he sometimes recommends (but never pushes). His shampoos are like a mini vacation. After seeing Eric, I always leave the salon feeling and looking better than when I arrived. He is a special guy.

  Super unprofessional and chronically late - Eric De La Torre in particular. Avoid the drama. Go to one of the many other great salons in Old Town.

  Giana did a wonderful job with my hair! She checked in and asked great questions to make sure I liked the length, color, shape, etc. I will definitely be coming back!

  Natalie always does an amazing job on my hair! I go for fashion colors, but the balayage looks great and grows out nicely. Staff are friendly and space is clean.

  Probably the worst hair cut I have ever had. I am female with short hair (think shaved sides with some length on top). I had a cut and colour. Cut: I agreed what would be done re the cut, inc pictures. This is not what happened. There are random long bits that haven’t been cut (not style, just mistake), should be longer at front than back - this is not what was done. It is truly awful. The colour: half head highlights. Asked for bold highlights - got very thin strips (looks terrible), some is very yellow like I smoke 20 a day, some is whiter as requested. It looks really spotty. And finally, which should be a warning to all short haired people - they had zero styling product for short hair so I left the salon looking worse than I can do myself. I felt like I wasn’t listened to as the hair dresser did her own thing. It just turned out that thing was really bad.
