  Angie did a great job fixing my chopped at home curtain bang attempt. I cut to much hair off regarding the bangs so it’s still obviously a bit choppy but not because of her, because of ME. She gave her best and conversation was great! Def will go to again and highly recommend Angie!! 10/10❤️❤️❤️

  I live in NC. Here in Norfolk visiting family. Needed a haircut badly! Looked on-like and fourth one I called had a few openings. I left there in love with the style, and how easy it will be to keep it styled!! Kudos to this Salon, 👏 And the ladies working there!! So PLEASED!!

  Kelsey at Hair Cuttery is incredible! This is the second time she’s done rainbow hair for me, and after seeing her work before, I completely trusted her vision this time around. Since rainbow hair is such a long appointment, we actually talked before my visit so she could plan everything out. I told her I wanted rainbow hair again and that I was hoping for a prism effect. Kelsey shared her vision with me ahead of time and even sent an inspiration picture of what she was thinking. When I arrived for my appointment, I trusted her completely and let her take the creative lead. She chose the color placement, designed the overall look, and even picked the gorgeous purple that anchors the style. The end result exceeded every expectation I had. What impresses me most is that the hair looks amazing both curled and straight. The colors are vibrant, beautifully blended, and flow perfectly no matter how it’s styled. That’s a level of artistry and attention to detail that really stands out. I spent about six hours in her chair, and every minute was worth it. My favorite reaction came when I got home and my two boys saw it. They were absolutely thrilled and couldn’t stop talking about my rainbow hair. Because I was there for so long, I also got to interact with many of the staff members throughout the day, and every single person was friendly, welcoming, and fun to talk to. The atmosphere at this location is fantastic, and the entire experience was enjoyable from start to finish. I’m sure there are many talented stylists at this Hair Cuttery, but Kelsey is my girl. If you’re looking for someone who can take an idea, elevate it, and create something truly unique, I can’t recommend her enough.

  I wasn't giving the best customer service. Initially I received a text message offering me 50% off all services rendered under my visit. So I called and was quoted 67$ for color, shampoo, trim, and blowout. When I arrived and set in the chair I told the stylist India that I was not tender-headed and I could tolerate and intense shrub on my head. India stated that she could not strub my head because she was applying color and she wasn't going to jeopardize her license. I said okay. I did have everyday product in my hair which is typically normal for textured hair. The stylist India was rude and made complaints about the state of my hair in front of the other customers and stylists. The complaints were insulting and I responded. India took offense and told the manager that she did not want to continue servicing me. The manager stepped in and tried de-escalating the situation which was no help. At the end of the service the manager tried to charge me for her service and India service on one transaction. I'm not sure what went wrong with the payment but Hair Cuttery electronic system would not accept the card that I was using to make the payment for services. I questioned the manager if I was being charged for two different transactions at the same entity for one service and she never provided an answer. I repeatedly ask to speak with the General Manager and I was never given the opportunity to speak with the General Manager. After leaving I called the corporate office to discuss serval of issues with the service that I received. I could not understand why India stated that she had to protect her license yet she felled to have me sign a waiver for color. This waiver is something that I have signed every time I've visit Hair Cuttery. The waiver is an understanding between client and stylist about the risk of color being applied to your head. This was by far the worst and most unprofessional experience that I have had at Hair Cuttery. After this visit I will not visit any Hair Cuttery. When it comes down to it I'm just not sure of Hair Cuttery position when dealing with texture hair.
