  I had a great experience! I haven't had my hair cut in quite a while, and wanted to make a big change. I met with Elizabeth and she knew exactly what I wanted and got right to it. I wasn't 100% positive with the style I wanted but Elizabeth knew exactly what to do. Plus, the spa experience of getting your hair washed is amazing!

  As usual, a home run with curly haired-client expert, Jessica Mudd! I came in about a year ago, and my hair was a mess! The last stylist I had been to fried my hair. I never thought I could get it to come back from the frizzy, cotton candy mess I was walking in with it. Jessica was undaunted. Not only did she tell me that she could get my hair back to its former grandeur but I could do it in a year. Scoffers beware because I didn’t believe it either, but I found myself eating my words. I followed Jessica’s hair care plan for me. She wasn’t afraid to troubleshoot or consult a colleague. Yesterday was about a year since I started and mission accomplished. The hair is soft to the touch and actually grows (rather than breaking off at the ends). Just to put this into more context, she got my hair back even though I continued to color the roots. The last step we took was yesterday. My curl can be uneven with some sections curly and others straight, so we did a perm to even it out. The result is incredible. Soft curly, shiny and healthy! The salon itself is beautiful and clean. The staff is always professional, pleasant, and attentive. The complimentary beverages and snack bar are all great touches. I have not used their spa services yet but I plan to. I will continue to return to Rituals and since much of the staff has been here for years, I don’t have to worry about Jessica simply disappearing. Top notch!

  I walked in today and once again Jessica was ready to take me back right away. The salon is well-run and efficient and the front desk is on point. Jessica collaborates with me depending on if I have events coming up and need a blow out look that I can replicate myself or if I am playing a lot tennis and need my hair easy to put up and out of my face. She understands naturally curly--that is not always a given. This is an overall enjoyable experience. These days that is not always a given in the customer service arena.

  Josh is an artist - like a sculptor, he shaped my hair into a fun, sophisticated yet sassy style that makes me feel happy and confident. He is really nice / pleasant to be with and easy to chat with. He takes his time until every strand of hair is behaving property. :-) I love the salon - it's lovely. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Great product selections.
