  **Very Disappointing Experience** I really wanted to give Hair Cuttery a try after they reached out to me with a promotional offer. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. My appointment was scheduled for 4:30, but I wasn’t seen until 5:30. For a simple shampoo and blowout, I didn’t leave the salon until after 7:00, and the final blowout was honestly less than average with an excessive amount of hair oil used. To make matters worse, when I went to check out, I was told they couldn’t honor the promotion because I didn’t have a promo code. This was a promotion they had sent to me directly to encourage me to schedule, so that was frustrating. The salon itself also felt dirty and uncomfortable, which made the long wait even less enjoyable. I understand that things happen, but between the hour-long wait, the excessive amount of time for a basic service, the disappointing result, and the promotion issue, this was not an experience I would repeat.

  Had an appt at 330pm. Someone else ended up taking my appointment. I waited until someone came up and told them I had an appt and learned someone else took my spot. At a little after 4 I finally had Hanh. Apparently I got swapped with the person who booked her. So I went ahead and let Hahn do my hair. I explained to her what I wanted, showed her a picture, and she told me it was impossible to do layers on long hair. I told her i just wanted my face framed and long layers in the back and to keep majority of the length just getting rid of split ends. Then when washing my hair she kept downing me about using box dye. I told her right now that's all I could afford. She said i needed treatment and a mask then She continued telling me how horrible and unhealthy my hair was. And started saying if I can't comb it then I can't cut it. She spent the whole wash degrading my hair. We got to the seat and she took the towel off and brushed the comb down to where it got stuck in a tangle and showed me and said again if I can't comb it then I cant cut it. Of course the comb got stuck, it was just washed and towel dried. I was debating on leaving when she snipped some of my hair about 1/4 inch and said you want to keep long hair this is all I can cut. I said a little more can be cut so she cut another 1/4 inch and made me look at it in the floor. I told her 2-3" would be fine so it got rid of split ends and looked a little healthy. She said I dont know your definition of that so I showed her with my fingers and she huffed at me said that's not going to make your hair healthy and started cutting more. She had me facing away from mirrors so I couldn't see anything going on. The entire time she was cutting my hair she kept snapping my head back and forth hard digging her nails into my scalp to where my neck was hurting. Then when pulling the hair up to cut she kept whipping it across my face. A couple times it hit my eyes and got them stinging so I kept my eyes closed while she was continuing to make comments about my hair being horrible. At that point I was holding back tears and trying to keep my composure. She asked how it looked and I didnt really check I just wanted to get out as fast as I could before I started bawling my eyes out. I rarely get to have time to make myself "pretty" and was so excited to finally get my haircut cause I love that fresh from the salon feeling. Instead I walked out in tears feeling like me and my hair was disgusting. And full on ugly cried in my car. I got home and my daughter saw me crying and asked what was wrong. I told her and she called the salon and the person she spoke to said I was lying that didnt happen. Then she spoke to the manager. I dont know her name. I dont want to ever go back there with the way Hahn treated a mom who finally got a chance to pamper herself. My hair looks nothing like the picture that I showed. And at minimum had 8" cut off my hair when I asked for a max of 3". My hair was at my butt. Now it is at my shoulder blades and I cant even braid it to the side like I always do. It took years to get my hair long and now I have to start all over again. I just had all my hair chopped off and not even close to how I asked. So I am definitely stressing out trying to tell myself it will grow back. I'd like to say this was maybe a bad day for her. But after reading reviews online, it seems that this is very common for her to make clients cry and down them. I've been coming here for years and think it is time to find somewhere else to go. I dont recommend coming here at all.

  This hair cut experience was absolutely horrible for my mom. Cut over 7-8" when she asked for 2-3 inches. Hahn was grabbing my mom's head jerking it each and every direction, she left with a sore neck. Hahn went to wash her hair and was saying your hair is so horrible I dont even know if I can cut this. Hahn said if I cant comb your hair I cant cut your hair. Hahn was being extremely rude and rough with her not being considerate at all. And made my mom leave in tears and bawling her eyes out cause she felt ugly. I do not suggest coming here. DEFINITELY Suggest DO NOT LET HAHN cut your hair.

  I signed up online for a 12:30 appointment time. I got there at 12:22 and as soon as I walked in the woman asked my name and I told her and I told her I had a 12:30 appointment that I set up online. She said ok someone would be with me shortly. At about 12:40 I was still sitting there and a woman comes in with her daughter and the woman takes them right back to cut their hair. So I sit there patiently as two stylist finished with their customer and the third stylist was finishing with hers. At 12:50 I was still sitting there and another woman walked in and they were about to take her back and I stood up and said “please cancel my booking!” And the woman said you had an appointment and I said “yes at 12:30” and she said someone would take me back right then. Well she asked one of the stylist to take me because she didn’t know what happened and why I wasn’t taken back yet. The woman who cut my hair chopped it up, it looked nothing like the style I asked for (ah yes my hair is curly and ik it won’t look exactly like the pic I brought but I haven’t had any issues with other stylist getting it right). It’s not layered right and looks awful. When I looked in the mirror and saw the hack job she did I said it looked fine and she blew the hair off and I paid and left. Idk if the cut she gave me was intentional because I heard the “female dog (but the cuss word) “ yelled from the back before she took me back and was talking with the lady who I told to cancel my appointment. I don’t want to assume that this was intentional what she did to my hair on one hand but in the other hand if it wasn’t intentional or something she did to just me then she can’t cut hair and has ruined a lot of hair I’m sure. I will never ever go here again! Now I’ve got to figure out how to fix my hair but it’s so short that I’ll probably have to just shave it and start over because it isn’t going to grow out right the way she cut it. I’m all three years I’ve gotten a haircut at a salon I’ve never ever worried about getting a bad cut because I’ve always said it will grow back but boy I never had to deal with a bad hair cut like this!

  Worst haircut I have ever gotten. The hairdresser was new and did not know what she was doing. I asked for a half inch trim and to clean up my layers. She took over an hour to do that, then dried my hair and then had to fix it bc it was not even. She continued to cut my dry hair to try to fix what she had done and proceeded to tell me she needed to take another inch off of my hair to fix the length with the layers. I finally asked her to stop cutting bc she messed my hair up, took much more length off than I asked for and by that time my hair length and my layers were two inches difference in length. At this point the store was closed bc it was after 8pm and I had been there for over an hour and a half. The girl cutting my hair was barely apologetic or seemed to care. She said I could come bs j tomorrow to have someone else fix it. The other two women working in the shop didn’t step in to offer any help or say a thing. I had to find another salon to get my hair “fixed” and have much more length taken off to fix what your hairstylist did. Horrible experience, bad service. You should absolutely not be allowing people to cut hair if they are that incapable. I only gave one star so I could post this review. Zero stars.
