  Absolutely worst service possible. My daughter had a piercing done and was told to follow up after 3 months. Today is 3 months later and drove all the way from Baltimore. No one told us to get an appointment before coming and now attendant refused to do a “follow up” visit saying she simply does not have availability and wants us to drive back tomorrow. Absolutely lack of care and extremely poor customer service.

  I got my contra conch done by Leon at Studs and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I sat down, he made the whole process feel so calm and approachable. He was incredibly reassuring throughout and kept reminding me that if I had any questions at any point, to just stop him and let him know, which made me feel so much more at ease going into it. The piercing itself went smoothly and Leon clearly knew exactly what he was doing, walking me through everything as he went so I never felt caught off guard or anxious about what was coming next. It’s the kind of attentiveness that really makes a difference, especially with a cartilage piercing like the contra conch. Overall 10/10 experience and I’ll definitely be coming back for my next one.

  I had my piercing done at a different Studs location in another state and came to the Tysons Corner location for a downsizing appointment. Unfortunately, the scheduling experience was extremely frustrating. I first visited on a Saturday and was told downsizing appointments could not be done on weekends. I said okay and walked away. I then booked an evening appointment online around my work schedule. On the day of the appointment, I received an email moving the appointment to an earlier time because the piercer needed to leave early. Since I could no longer make the new time, I had to cancel. I canceled my own client for this appointment and lost out on money. Finding another appointment was difficult because weekday availability was very limited. When I called the store, I explained that I work multiple jobs and have very limited availability. I was able to schedule for an 11:00 AM appointment. When I arrived on time, I was told there would be a 10–15 minute wait because another client was also scheduled at the same time and there was only one piercer available. At that point, I was unable to stay and ultimately had to leave without getting the downsizing done. What makes this especially disappointing is that it has now been about two weeks of trying to get a simple downsizing appointment completed, and I still haven’t been able to get the service. I’ll likely have to go to another piercing studio instead. The scheduling process needs improvement. If there is only one piercer available, multiple appointments should not be booked for the same time slot. Between the appointment being moved on short notice and then arriving for a scheduled appointment only to face another delay, the experience felt like my time was not being respected.

  Extremely nice staff. Place was clean and professional. León made my daughter feel comfortable through out the whole process. She went in super nervous and came out with a big smile on her face. He explained the process and the experience didn't feel rushed. Their earing selctions are super cute. We are very happy. Will be back again.

  Came in two days ago on a whim to get my conch pierced after I saw online that there were better earring options here compared to a competitor. I was greeted so enthusiastically by Leon who helped me pick out an earring. After filling out the waver, he took the time to explain how the piercing was going to go and was open to any questions I had. He also was very meticulous about placement since I told him I would possibly like to switch the earring to a hoop once fully healed. The piercing itself hurt a bit more than my tragus, but I felt extremely comfortable knowing that I was in good hands throughout it and used a stress ball that was offered to me before starting. Leon was very thorough in explaining aftercare steps to ensure it heals properly. I highly recommend getting pierced by Leon! I’m looking forward to coming back in a few months to get my post downsized but so far on day 2 the pain has gone down significantly and seems like it’s going to heal well. Thank you for a great experience!!
