It was a little busy when I went, busy enough to fill all of the seats for people waiting. There were people with appointments that made my wait time longer since I was just a walk-in, but that's understandable and I'm not complaining. I don't remember how long I waited, but I believe it was a little over 20 minutes, which is what the estimated wait time on their screen that shows your place in line said. So the screen is mostly accurate, but if someone with an appointment comes in after you, they will still be seen before you. Not a problem if you're someone who makes appointments, but if you're someone easily irritable and just wants to walk in, you may be a little unhappy.
The employees were not unfriendly, but they aren't super friendly either. They were the expected amount for a chain store, you shouldn't expect a lot of friendly conversation, but there's zero disrespect. I've been to this location a couple of times, and I've never seen the same people twice, so employee attutudes can easily change. The first time I went, which I believe was a year or something ago, there was a very friendly and talkative employee that was very easy to talk to and was quite entertaining, but I haven't seen her since that one time, and no other employees have been as friendly or talkative. This may also be due to how untalkative I am, though. However, this is the first time I went by myself, so it was the first time I was put in their system as me and not just under my mom's name and number, which means I had to give them mine. I'm a quiet talker and I often don't ennuciate properly, so the lady who checked me in misheard me and thought my name was Donna and I didn't realize until after I sat down and she went back to her customer. It was no problem, though, I just mentioned it when it was my turn and the lady who cut my hair fixed it.
All I got was a trim to cut off all the dead hair and clean it up, but she definitely did it well. She also suggested switching out my shampoo to something that'll moisturize it, or to use some oil so it'll make my hair look better. It's been awhile since I got my hair cut, and all I do with it is shampoo it and sometimes use conditioner, so its been a bit neglected, so the tips were appreciated.
The haircut was just 20 dollars, but I got a coupon on the receipt for next time, and if I remember correctly, there's almost always a coupon on the receipt for haircuts. I'm unsure if its true for other services, but I think its common for the 20 dollar haircuts.
Their workplace is clean and well maintained. I feel like they should have just one more chair for the people waiting, but that's not even worth mentioning. The employees appear to know what they're doing, but I know nothing of hair, so I can't say for sure if that's true. Overall, its not a bad place to get a haircut.
