  Would rate it 0 stars if I could. Booked a 6:15 appointment for a wash and blow dry and came 5 mins late (I called ahead of time to let them know) The lady gave me the absolute worst blow dry like it was her first time blow drying hair and then because I had long hair it took a little longer and it turned 7:10 and she stopped her blow dryer and told me she has to go and that they have to leave. She didn’t even turn me around to allow me to look at myself in the mirror, to brush my hair out. She said ok you have to go we are closed and rushed me out. Ridiculously rude behavior for someone who doesn’t know how to blow dry. I didn’t expect a 5 star service but this is not how you treat anyone. Will never recommend this location or come back. RUN

  Absolutely horrible job with anything related to color! They don’t understand basics or how not to ruin hair, then they ‘fix’ it with more chemicals - Not only did we try once but twice after they apologized and ‘fixed’ it the first time we tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and try again. ANOTHER FAIL OF COURSE!

  I’ve been going to Hair Cuttery for two years, and Marjorie is an amazing stylist! I got a cut and color today, and I absolutely love the way it turned out. She always listens to what I want and does such an amazing job. I highly recommend Marjorie!

  I went to Hair Cuttery after making an appointment because I wanted a specific haircut. When I first booked, I spoke with the person at the reception desk and asked him to recommend a good stylist. He recommended Janette, so I specifically booked an appointment with her for the following day. I was told the price would be $49. I arrived about five minutes before my appointment and told the receptionist that I had an appointment with Janette. She initially told me that another stylist would be doing my hair. I explained that I had specifically booked with Janette. Janette was sitting there, but when the receptionist asked her to take my appointment, she initially said no because she was waiting for another customer. The whole interaction was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. Eventually, she agreed to do my haircut, but it was very obvious that she did not want to. Then I was told the haircut would actually cost $60 because of my long hair. I explained that the person who booked my appointment had never mentioned any additional charge. However, I didn't want to argue, so I agreed to the $60. Before starting, I showed Janette pictures and even videos of the haircut I wanted. I clearly explained that I did not want my hair cut too short and that I wanted a specific shape. She barely looked at the pictures and simply said she would do it. During the haircut, I repeatedly reminded her not to cut my hair too short, but she did not really respond. While she was cutting my hair, the customer she had apparently been waiting for arrived. From that point, she seemed rushed, and unfortunately, my haircut was completely ruined. When she finished, I was honestly shocked and wanted to cry. My hair was much shorter than I had specifically asked for and looked nothing like the pictures and videos I had shown her. When I pointed this out and showed her the reference again, she did not acknowledge my concern and simply moved on to cutting the other customer's hair. I was then charged $63, even though I was originally told $49 and had later been told $60. When I questioned the price, I was again told it was because of my long hair. The entire experience left me extremely disappointed, what made this experience worse was the lack of communication, the attitude toward my appointment, the failure to listen to what I repeatedly asked for, and the lack of any acknowledgment when I expressed that I was unhappy with the result. I would not recommend haircuttery to anyone looking for a haircut and good customer service. I left feeling that my concerns were not taken seriously and that the focus was more on getting through the appointment and charging me than on providing the service I had actually requested. They are extremely unprofessional.
