  First, I am an older woman and NEVER had a haircut like that...well except when Mom would try to save money and put us in the kitchen chair. She brushed it all down and trimmed, no clip to do the layers, no ensuring even, just trimmed the bottom along my drape/body as she spun the chair. Literally no more than 3 to 5 minutes. Second, I had a 50% off code and it wasn't being honored by the stylist that cut my hair. I was not understanding why it wasn't honored and she (carmen) kept saying that it was because she massaged my head in a way she learned in peru and although it was nice and I am ok with paying more (also I am a VERY good tipper) it still should be 50% off of services. She got angry after the ONE time I asked, the manager said she was ringing me up wrong and stepped in. Carmen stormed around waving her hands saying she didn't care about the money and I could leave. No ma'am, I am not leaving when you have my cash. The manager even said it was unnecessary the way she was acting. Manager straightened it out, I still gave Carmen a tip and she just huffed at me versus even a thank you. Carmen, do better.....u literally made me never want to come there again and your way of treating me and your immature behavior is inexcusable 👀

  Overall, we had a great experience at this location. I brought my 9-year-old son in for a perm, which he had been wanting for a while. The check-in process could use some improvement—no one was available when we arrived, and I wasn’t given much information or told who our stylist would be. Thankfully, we ended up with Latanya, who was wonderful! She was thorough, kept me informed throughout the process, and made sure my son was comfortable. He was extremely happy with his perm and couldn’t stop smiling!

  I spent eight hours in the salon, only for the stylist to completely destroyed my hair. The stylist took 6 to 7 hours to just to put foils in my hair, after coloring and washing, my hair turned bright orange and severely damaged, my hair was long, so I asked her to cut 3 to 4 inches to remove same of the damage, instead, she cut off way more than requested, and it was completely uneven. I was tired and upset by the end that I just said it was fine, paid and even tipped out of habit, which I deeply regret When I got home, I could see the full disaster, my hair was patchy mix of orange, copper, and dark spots. I when back the next day and spend another 2 hours there. The lead manager wasn't available ( I was told she only works Sundays) So, the stylist color my hair back to my original dark color, completely undoing what I originally paid for. Beyond the terrible hair results, the customer service is awful. The employees are unfriendly and so not even greet you when you walk in. Save your money, time, and hair. DO NOT GO THERE. I am trying to contact the Hair Cuttery but no respond... terrible

  Not a good experience. When I arrived for my appointment, the stylist JANETTE initially refused to see me because she said it was closing time. It was 6:30pm appointment. I had booked a root touch-up appointment online, and I had to explain that I was only getting my roots done. If there wasn’t enough time for the service, the online booking system shouldn’t have allowed me to make the appointment. The stylist was not friendly and made an unnecessary comment about me being “too young” to have gray hair. Having gray hair at a young age is not something I choose, and I found the comment insensitive and unprofessional. Unfortunately, I was also disappointed with the result. My hair turned out much darker than it was before, which is not what I wanted. Overall, I was not happy with either the customer service or the quality of the work.
