  Extremely disappointing and misleading experience. They send promotional texts with coupons specifically to entice customers to come in on weekdays, but after providing the service, they refused to honor the coupon and charged me the full price. If you’re going to advertise a coupon, you should honor it when customers meet the stated conditions. This felt like a bait-and-switch and was extremely frustrating. Beware of their promotional texts and coupons. I would strongly recommend confirming the discount will be honored before receiving any service.

  Had a great haircut with Huong (who has cut my hair before). She is a good stylist. The only thing I do not like is the pricing structure. I am a Senior on a tight budget. I wish I could know how much it will cost BEFORE I go. First is the Classic Cut & Blowdry, but the cost is increased bcz I have long hair. Okay, I can accept this. But then I am charged $23 bcz she used a curling iron on six sections of hair! Frankly, that is a total over-reach. I do love Hair Cuttery and will continue to have Huong do my hair. Just wish your services were more predictable and that you ask before an add-on is performed.

  I hardly ever leave reviews, positive or negative, but my experience at this Hair Cuttery was so bad I felt I needed to share. I had an appointment, but when I arrived, they were clearly overwhelmed and running behind. I offered to come back another time, but they repeatedly told me it would only be another five minutes. I ended up waiting 35 minutes past my appointment time. I asked for what I thought was a simple cut: about two inches off with long layers. I was also very clear that I needed to keep my hair long enough to put up. Unfortunately, far more than two inches was cut, the layers are extremely short and choppy, and I can no longer put my hair up. I left with one of the worst haircuts I’ve ever received and really regret not leaving when I initially offered to reschedule.

  I had the best experience here! I came in for a full service—color, highlights, cut, and a blow out—and I am thrilled with the results. ​My stylist, LAHN, listened carefully to what I wanted, and the color and highlights turned out looking completely seamless and natural. Even after coloring, my hair actually feels and looks healthier than it did when I walked in, which is a huge testament to her skill and the quality of products she uses. The blowout finished everything off with a gorgeous, bouncy style. ​If you are looking for someone who truly knows hair care and color, see Lahn. I will definitely be back!

  Extremely bad Franklin farm VA location . No discipline. They accepted my appointment with a stylist at 8am on August 1st 2026. No one showed up until 8:40am. I waited so long. I came at 7:50am. 10min before the appointment time. No one answered the calls too. After they came in, I asked them if someone else can do my hair and they said it’s gonna be extra for long hair. Which I accept. Then they said it’s gonna be extra for curl iron. This is ridiculous. I told the lady this isn’t fair. Because if I would have known about this at 8am, I would go to another place. They could have used a hair brush and hair dryer simply. They didn’t mention in the app which tool is gonna cost extra. On top of that they were rude to me that coming late and extra for curl iron are no way related. I told them if I could have known about this at 8am, I would have gone to some place else. Then the stylist came and she was polite and agreed to do my hair. The other two ladies wouldn’t even let her use other tools, told her since she is new she didn’t know anything and hurried her because she agreed to do my hair without the shampoo and drying and no product just for 31$. I felt this so cheap. I am definitely not going back there. I understand the costs, no discipline and being rude is what made me feel bad.
