  I went to this salon based on someone’s referral. Tess did my color and cut. She was great! The price was very reasonable. I very highly recommend Prism and Tess! Thanks!

  I visited Prism Salon for the first time two days ago and it was the best salon experience I have ever had! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are professional and down to Earth. The design of the salon is upscale and everything is very clean! They have free drinks available and they are offered to you, soon after arriving. Lyra was my stylist and she did INCREDIBLE! I have a ton of long, coarse hair that I have a really hard time finding anyone that can actually handle it. She is very knowledgeable and amazing at what she does because she seriously gave me the best haircut ive ever had! I came in wanting an undercut and the rest of my hair cut. She spent time with me, gaining an understanding of exactly what I wanted and using her expertise to give me what I asked for and more! She gave me a feminine undercut with a design, and a haircut with gorgeous layers that look like if Beyonce waves had a baby with VS Bombshell curls. She truly is an artist! The entire experience was so fun, relaxing, and I left feeling the best that I have felt about myself, in years! Lyra is the best! I will definitely be back!

  I found Prism via an instagram ad for their headspa service with a free mini facial add-on, and I had the most wonderful experience. One, my husband's work travel plans changed, so I had to bring my 6-year-old daughter with me. Not only was the staff at Prism understanding, they were so incredibly welcoming. Heather got my daughter extra snacks and even helped her mid-session when she needed iPad assistance. The headspa treatment was incredibly relaxing, and the warmed table has the most amazing massage feature that felt like a hug on all the muscles in my back and glutes. I added on a blow-out to save myself from exiting with wet hair, and Brittany (who owns the salon) could not have been more wonderful. Thanks to my great experience (and fab treatments), I'll now be a regular happy client at Prism!

  I brought my 15-year-old daughter in for a color consultation and left disappointed in how it was handled. My daughter is autistic, and I attend her appointments with her. During the consultation, the stylist told her directly that I shouldn't be so worried about her hair because she was old enough to make her own decisions. Later, when she spoke with me, the stylist told me that my daughter wasn't a little baby anymore. I had not asked for input on my parenting, and I felt it was inappropriate coming from someone who had just met us and knew nothing about our situation. She also commented that my daughter had done a bad job on a haircut she had attempted at home. For the strand test, she cut off a much larger section of hair than I expected, and did not tell me in advance how much she would be taking. When we got to pricing, she told us the color my daughter wanted would take too long and would run around $800, and suggested we look at other options. I understand a stylist may need to set expectations about time and cost. What I did not expect was unsolicited commentary on how I parent my child, or criticism aimed at an autistic teenager who was already nervous about being there. We won't be returning. Edit to add: my daughter has never used box dye on her hair, and this was shared with the stylist. The quote was explained to me at the time as a matter of time and cost. Cost was never the obstacle here. We were ready to pay; we weren't ready to be talked to that way.

  Terrible experience here with extensions quoted one price at the counter and then double the price I was also taken very late my appointment was at 2 o'clock, but they took me very late because of a class they said, but they still wanted me to pay for a 2 o'clock appointment they charge hourly at this place. A one hour appointment ended up being three hours. Be careful. On top of that the extensions were supposed to be placed Towards the front, they actually placed the extensions right where my other ones were so what was the point in this. Just a big waste of money is what it was. Hair looks no different. Extremely unhappy with the results. Hair looks lumpy where they put the extension you could even see some poking out when she was done Now I have to pay to get them removed !!!!! So I had other extensions in my hair and she put them right where the other ones were. Why would someone want that? Also, their hair extensions are extremely thin and don't come in large quantities, but they charge a lot of money for them. You would have to buy 10 stacks just to get volume ... lesson learned here!!!!! Won't happen again. Extremely upset when I left this place I don't like to be told I was getting hair placement in the front and then they put it in the back. This is not what we had agreed on but they still got paid. Unhappy customer !!!! They had no problem taking my money they placed Hair in the back instead of the front. Be careful here. I asked for one thing and got the exact opposite. Still a day later, and I had to add even more to this review because I'm still fuming mad that I wasted all this money. The extensions were placed right next to my other ones so what was the point in that when I wanted them Closer upfront they were replaced where my other ones were doesn't make any kind of sense. Wish I had never gone to this salon. Update : called salon to speak with owner she would not come to phone they said she would have her call me. Never a call till this day ! Wow. Still several days later no phone calls. I'm not gonna get a call from the salon!!! Very unprofessional I've told them that the extensions are popping out and they don't even call back to fix them. This is Crazy stay away from this salon.!!!!! Absolutely not resolved. Extensions poking out !!!! Wrong placement. Girl on phone said she would call me back never did. They pressured me for payment although 1000 percent not happy .... I have asked them to take them out. No response. How in the word resolved when they are poking up and out !!!! Resolved for them not for me !!!!!
