    I should open with saying that I had previous hair cuttery experiences that were not optimal, so that was my frame of reference that landed it at the bottom of the short list of places to try for our 13 year old son's haircut. He would fight getting haircuts because he hated the experience and being "talked to and treated like a child" and he'd rarely like the result. Fast forward to submitting and taking him to hair cuttery (after the local american barber shop, Bubbles, PR at Partners, among others that he would just dread going to). He had Justin as his stylist. Justin gave him the style that he'd been after, treated him so well, was so down to earth and exceeded our expectations. Now our son asks to go and see Justin every time and always leaves beaming and checking himself out in the mirror, feeling like a 'young man'. We *highly* recommend visiting Justin.

    I had the most amazing experience with Vanessa!!! She listened to me and she was very honest and helpful! I am extremely particular about my hair and she absolutely nailed it!! If you are looking for a new stylist SHE IS THE ONE!!! She is now my new stylist! I’ve been looking for a new one for 3 years!!! Thank you Vanessa🩷🌸

    I hate leaving a one star review but I have never been so upset and distraught about a hair cut in my life. Initially had my hair cut Wednesday and asked for a trim and to have side bangs added; showed photos of what i wanted and everything. Requested that only about 2 inches be cut as my split ends weren't bad. She cut off easily 5-6 inches and did not add the bangs until last minute after I had to re-request them (at this point she had already blow dried my hair). During this entire visit it felt like she was rushing to get through with me and kept staring over at the other customers waiting. I get home and after thoroughly looking at my hair it is an absolute mess. Side “Bangs” super short/awkward and cut straight across, no blending with my other hair, and my layers completely uneven. I go back in the next day and they tell me I have to come back the following day to have my hair fixed my to manager. The manager was extremely friendly and acknowledged that the haircut was indeed off/not good. She was gracious in fixing it and gave tips on keeping my hair healthy. After getting home however I still found that my hair cut is not symmetrical in the front pieces. The manager did say that she “fixed it as best she could” but I’m still not understanding the lack of symmetry. Mind you I am holding back tears during both of these experiences.The only plus was she did give me a refund (not including the tip). Safe to say I will bite the bullet and start paying more to go to a salon if it means my haircuts wont end up looking like I did them myself.
