Rowan is all about ears. We offer a fun, celebratory and safe piercing experience for everyone. All our piercings are done by licensed nurses and all our products are hypoallergenic. When we say “Piercing for All”, we mean it. Everybody is invited to this ear party.
The one star is for my experience after. I am not impressed with the earrings for needle piercings. One fell out of my daughter’s ear while sleeping about 2.5 weeks post procedure. We found it immediately after waking and tried to put it back in the morning and I was unsuccessful. The super small stud and the back post are the most ridiculous style I have ever seen. I ended up taking her other earring out as she was traumatized from me trying to attempt to put it back in and did not even want the earrings anymore. I ended up putting them in my ear to avoid wasting $240 on the earrings and it HURT because of how difficult it was to do myself—and I have had my holes for 30+ years—so I can only imagine how it felt for her. Almost $350 total down the drain, with $220 of that for the earrings alone. Silly me thought they would be much better quality. The post on the stud is so small in diameter they were already bent after 2.5 weeks of wear. This place is a rip off and the quality is crap.

Khadeejah did a wonderful job on my nose piercing, no pain and awesome placement! I'm so happy and want another one ASAP! Ashley was an awesome "handholder" ;) Thank you both so much!

Really appreciated how thorough and age appropriate they walked my 4-yr old through the process. Thanks Nurse Patricia!

DO NOT get your ears pierced at Rowan. I got my second lobe piercings here, and they completely ruined my ears, fed me lies for months, and sold me defective jewelry with “premium” pricing. This place is a Claires in sheeps clothing.
Full story:
I was originally needle pierced in Sept 2025 and given titanium studs. All seemed okay at first glance except one of my piercings was wayyy too close to my first piercing hole (only 2mm away) despite me actively wearing my first earrings and asking for adequate spacing.
I quickly developed piercing bumps and was told they would go away if I kept spraying with saline. I returned multiple times to get the studs downsized and the piercings checked and was told everything looked good each time.
Around 6 months after the piercings were in, despite me still having the bumps and occasional bleeding, they encouraged me to switch to hoops since I was snagging my studs on my hair a lot. I trusted them since they are supposed to be healthcare professionals, so I switched to hoops and was told again that my bumps would go away shortly.
My ears only got worse with time, and I was continuously told they were just friction bumps and would heal. I came back one last time a week ago and asked to switch back to studs because clearly they are not healing. I was told that hoops were better for me so I should not change them, and that instead I should put tea tree oil on my bumps.
After this, I finally got up the nerve to go to a legitimate piercing studio instead for an opinion. Turns out my “friction bumps” are actually KELOIDS, likely caused by uneven piercing and an early transition to hoops, that I could have prevented from getting so bad if I was encouraged to act differently earlier. The piercers at this place were also appalled that I was told to put tea tree oil on my ears, because this would make the problem EVEN WORSE than it was before.
Ultimately I had to take the earrings out because even switching back to studs would do nothing now. When we took the hoops out, it turns out that my “solid gold” hoops CORRODED in my ear. Clearly not fully gold like I paid for, because gold does not turn black and chip off in my hand 😬
I have had a horrible experience getting my ears pierced here, from the piercing day to consultations after to the actual jewelry I bought. Horrible company that misleads buyers with their marketing to make them think these people know what they’re doing. I will repeat again, DO NOT get your ears pierced here, or you will end up with a year of misery, wasted money, and many trips to the dermatologists office in your future (the only way to remove a keloid, not tea tree oil lol).

i am writing to share some positive feedback regarding my recent visit to your clinic for my baby's ear piercing.
I absolutely loved the way the nurse handled my baby during the process. She was incredibly professional and patient, taking the time to play with my baby so they could get comfortable before beginning.
After I chose the earrings, the team did an excellent job. The space was very clean, and the entire experience was highly professional.
I will absolutely recommend your services to others. Thank you for providing such wonderful care!
