  My elderly mother and I visited Chelsea at the JCP Salon located in the South Park Mall in Colonial Heights, Virginia. Sadly, our hair stylist had cancelled our hair appointments for June, could not fit us back in again until August, and mom's hair was getting long. I was nervous about taking mom to a larger, busier salon as she has Alzheimer's and can become anxious and uncomfortable in new or noisy environments. Chelsea was so kind and patient with mom. She tinted her grey eye brows and gave her a beautiful haircut that she loves. I really appreciated Chelsea taking the time to make mom feel comfortable, which allowed mom and I to have a wonderful mother-daughter afternoon of pampering. In her current condition, it's not often that we can enjoy moments like this in a new environment around new people, with her feeling at ease and happy. After mom's experience, I decided to go visit Chelsea myself as well. Chelsea saw some Inspo pics I showed her and she did event better than expected. I love my new layered haircut! My hair looks and feels healthy. I am glad I decided to give JCP -and especially Chelsea- a try. And I love that they could accommodate my busy schedule with ease, even on weekends. We will be back!

  I reguarly have my hair colored, dimensional color, cut and styled by Lena. I love how I look and how I feel about my look. Each and every appointment Lena performs magic with my hair. We discuss the colors, changes in length, condition of my hair, all the details. I have always been delighted with the entire process. My husband tells me he loves the way Lena does my hair. No higher praise than this!

  I traveled from Richmond for a scheduled appointment, only to find I’d been reassigned to a different stylist without notice, who wasn’t at the salon or available. While I appreciate another stylist offering to step in, I couldn’t wait an additional 30 minutes past my appointment time. After booking a month in advance and preparing my hair, it was disappointing to leave without service.

  My wife and I go to Chelsea. She’s amazing. She gives a great haircut and style. She’s phenomenal with color and highlights.
