  Traveled and was staying in Va for a few days. so was worried abt getting my hair done out of state, but Harmony did a wonderful job! first time for me getting calico (mix of black,copper, and blond) her first time doing it to and she did absolutely amazing! she blended it well and even fixed the hack job of hair cut i had gotten at my usual salon back home. i have thick hair so it took a while even after they we’re supposed to be closed she took her time making it look good. everyone was friendly and definitely recommend.

  Don’t even wanna give this place a one the lady messed up my bangs completely and they look horrible. Not what I asked for at all very dull and not even what I wanted. FEW DAYS LATER… My hair was so bad and damaged from here that I had to go to a professional stylist to get it fixed. He was stunned at how bad my hair was. YOU DONT CUT BANGS WET..the lady was clueless and didn’t know what she was doing. Will never be back here but I definitely would want my money back for the crap job that was done. Keep in mind I’m also about to go on vacation with my family so thanks hair cuttery for damaging and screwing up my hair

  I received a phone call in the parking lot, minutes before my appointment informing me that my stylist had an emergency and would not be able to cut my hair today. I booked this appointment online and this was his first slot for the day. I totally understand emergent situations , and I hope that all is well with him. What I don't understand is how his first booking of the day was my appointment and no one knew that he wasn't coming until a minute before his shift? I'm sure there's not a lot of setup involved , but there's no way he's walking in the door when my appointment is scheduled. My biggest s issue was the attitude that I got from one of the associates that worked there. She wanted to know if I wanted to reschedule over the phone when she informed me of his emergency, but I knew nothing about the qualifications and abilities of the other people or who was available. I have short , curly hair , and I need a barber. I told her I was going to come in and talk to someone which seemed to be an issue with her. Recall, I was already in the park lot. You're associate needs to learn how to speak to people who keep your business afloat. She continued to go on talking about how she wasn't going to argue with me, and she was only doing what her supervisor told her to do, and I told her I didn't want to talk to her anymore. When I stopped , she continued running her mouth talking about me as though I wasn't standing there. The other associate , who helped me was very nice and considerate of the fact that I had been inconvenienced and that I was disappointed. Unfortunately , I don't know the name of the young person who was origially combative with me. One thing I am sure of this not the first time that she's gotten into it with a client, and it won't be the last. In the future , if you dont want to have these types of interactions , perhaps have a manager deal with clients who have to reschedule at the last minute and who have already shown up so that there is someone available , who has class, couthe, and professionalism, to handle questions and concerns. I had every right to be disappointed and bothered for being inconvenienced. I simply asked how it is that you all know at twelve o'clock that someone's not coming to work when they have a twelve o'clock appointment. I won't be returning. The barber that I originally booked with has lost a potential loyal and faithful client, who worked in the service industry for 25 years, and tips very well for great service. He helped fix a haircut gone wrong a few months ago, and was super patient and kind. This would have been my first return visit with him.
