  I’m not very happy. After getting my hair trimmed, mind you trimmed, with the complementary shampoo and conditioner I was charged $40 I have never been charged $40 in my life for a trim We’re moving from the state of Virginia to another state and they do have a Hair Cuttery there. I will not be using them. Also, the lady that was supposed to open at eight, and I had been there at quarter till in the parking lot waiting, opened up. I know it was only five minutes late, but it was still five minutes and when I came in, I could smell smoke on her so I know she had taken a cigarette break I would think that that would have been taken care of before 8 o’clock. 🕗

  Don't waste your time making an appointment because you will still wait 30 to 45 minutes while they cut someone else's hair at your time. I'm sure they cut hair fine, but they have no idea how to schedule. Also, high turn over here, every 2 months they have a new staff. Can't get the same person to cut my hair twice.

  Inexperienced stylist that caused my son to bleed in multiple places. Also, The cut was supposed to be long on top and He cut over an inch off and crooked. I didn't realize until after abot how painful the experience was for my son. I just wanted to get out of there because my son was so upset. Do not recommend. I also saw the manger talk with the stylist to adress next client and she didn't say anything although it was apparent my son was upset while getting cut. I had to have it fixed elsewhere and they couldn't even believe they made me pay for the cut.

  Amanda is truly an artist. In the words of my husband she brought my hair “back from the dead.” I am a relatively young woman but I had a ton of grey and a lot of it was wiry and frizzy. Well when I left Amanda I was a beautiful blonde and my hair was soft, smooth, and in better condition than before the bleach!! How does she do that??! Every single gray is covered and I look a million times better and younger! I feel so much better about the way I look now. I cannot emphasize that enough. Amanda really is a pro and I am grateful I had someone so knowledgeable to help me. She is THE BEST at what she does, and on top of that she is the sweetest person ever. I highly recommend!

  I had such a great experience with Ebony at Hair Cuttery (Chesapeake Square). She did both my highlights and cut, and truly listened to exactly what I wanted from the start. Ebony is kind, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable—she made me feel comfortable and confident the whole time. She checked in throughout the process to make sure I loved everything and was so accommodating with any questions I had. On top of that, she’s super personable and easy to talk to, which made the experience even better. If you’re looking for someone who will bring your vision to life, look no further—I’ll definitely be back!
