A simple hair cut… not only on one of the warmest days of year I been seated right at the blasting sun trough the window, when plenty of other seats were available. The lady couldn’t even follow the simple instructions of please DONT CUT MY HAIR ANY SHORTER. And she was still cutting and cutting. I am so upset. But it’s also my fault of going back there, never walked away from that place with what I asked for…. They might be cheap…and cheap is what you get.

I genuinely hate writing negative reviews, but my experience with Albania Thomas at Bubbles Pentagon City left me really disappointed.
I booked a simple single-process color appointment after being unable to get availability for a larger color package. Since I booked a simpler service, I expected a straightforward appointment, but I was still assigned a master stylist (Albania Thomas) and charged close to $200 for a single-process color and glaze treatment.
Before the appointment, I was very clear that I did NOT want warm, red, orange, or chestnut undertones in my hair. Unfortunately, the result came out much warmer than what I asked for, with noticeable reddish/orange tones and uneven color between the top and bottom sections.
I returned the next day because I was told I could come back if adjustments were needed. What upset me most was not just the color itself, but how uncomfortable the correction appointment became. I constantly felt rushed, blamed for not liking the result, and emotionally exhausted by the interaction with the front desk and Albania instead of feeling helped or reassured.
The color did become darker after the correction, and the stylist who did my haircut afterward was genuinely wonderful (cost additional 78 bucks). But overall, this was one of the most stressful salon experiences I’ve had, especially at this price point.
Now, my hair feels completely fried and much drier after washing, and I personally am experiencing scalp irritation, which I’ve never experienced before despite coloring my hair many times over the years.
I understand mistakes happen, but I expected much better communication, service, professionalism, and empathy from the front desk and a master stylist.

I went to Bubbles yesterday after a long time away. When I called, I was told the blow dry would be $60. Once I arrived, Nancy mentioned it would be $10 more for using a flat iron. At checkout, she again asked the cashier to add the extra $10 even though the cashier said it was already included.
The total came to $82 plus tip. The service took only about 25 minutes, no shampoo ( I declined it), and the style lasted barely two hours. Very disappointing for the price .I won’t be returning. There are better salons offering higher quality service for less.

Love Love Love Bubbles Pentagon City , from making the appointment to leaving it’s a great overall experience. The young ladies at the front desk are as nice and kind as can be, what a pleasure it is . Trang is the best , I have short hair and she does a fabulous job, and genuinely loves what she does, she’s a fantastic, caring and great stylist . Now there’s Mark he is the greatest person and Manager around , he could be replaced , talk about multitasking and he continues to smile . I feel the Salon is as wonderful as it is because of Mark , he is one incredible person and has a terrific team .

Robin has been me and my daughter’s stylist for three years now and we couldn’t be more pleased! I found out about her through a family friend whose hair always looked incredible after seeing Robin. I get compliments at work all the time about the cut and color of my hair—whether I wear it straight or curly. Robin always knows what will look best and is honest with me, so I completely trust her. Her experience and expertise come through in everything she does. I’m willing to pay more than some other salons charge because I know I will like the results.
