I had asked Samia (master 2) for a long trim keeping most of the length on the top and she proceeded to use her trimmers like they were a weed whacker against my head. Not a pleasant time.. my appointment started at 11:45 with the haircut and wash I was back in the car before noon. Thank goodness hair grows back.. it was $44 for a 15 minute butcher chop

I just had a wonderful experience at Hair Cuttery in Potomac Yard. Ms. Le (the Vietnamese stylist) was so nice, caring and professional. She gave me a new beautiful outlook worked amazingly on my hair and provided the best customer service. I highly recommend Le for a nice bob cut and style. Chi Thai

A formal notice to my reflection: When in doubt, absolutely do not do it.To anyone who has ever walked past a Hari Cuttery and felt that dangerous, magnetic pull to just "get it done"—cute, fast, and cheap—I implore you: do not do it. A week later and I am still perplexed. I ignored the warning signs last night, and I have officially left the salon with a fluff of... I am not entirely sure what. It is half even, half not. It is significantly shorter on the right side, yet somehow even shorter in the back. If I try to put it up in a desperate attempt to hide it, most of it falls straight out. To add insult to injury, I have been gifted a distinct mushroom look—but not a chic, angled, or straight mushroom. Just... mushroomy. Thank you, universe.To be fair, it was a very intimate experience. The stylist was lovely and wonderful. Truly. However, I do wish I hadn't spent the shampoo portion of our evening actively spitting her own hair out of my mouth while she washed mine. I also wish she had focused on the imperfect, flimsy hair currently attached to my head, rather than repeatedly comparing it to the "rich, thick, beautiful hair of some other lady" while staring off at the developing chaos elsewhere in the salon. Consider this a public service announcement. Walk past the window. Keep walking. Thank you for responding dear Hair Cuttery. i truly believe you will do nothing. I scrolled through past reviews, assessing poor quality for years and you have done nothing. So you will do nothing because there will always be an optimistic fool, in a rush, stopping by. So own it. You embrace your status quo and do not care as long as it makes money. At least admit it : )
