  It was my first time and I had no waiting. The customer service was excellent. I got a haircut and a super reasonable price. Gina is very friendly and give me exactly what I wanted. I really appreciate my new look Thank you for everything

  I hate writing negative reviews, but after being a loyal customer for 18 years, I feel compelled to share my experience. Unfortunately, this place has gone significantly downhill. I would recommend avoiding it. The last two times I stopped in for a walk-in haircut, I was told I needed an appointment, even though there were four stylists who were either on their phones or chatting with each other instead of cutting hair. I understand if everyone is genuinely booked, but it certainly didn’t appear that way. My haircut takes 15 minutes at most, and I always leave a 100%+ tip. Their loss. My wife had a similar experience just a few days ago while she was getting her hair cut. She noticed multiple stylists spending time on their phones while the front desk was turning away walk-in customers. It’s disappointing to see what appears to be a lack of urgency and customer service. Customers who are ready to spend money shouldn’t be turned away while employees are standing around on their phones. I’ve supported this business for nearly two decades because of the great service it used to provide. Sadly, that no longer seems to be the case. After 18 years, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

  Sofia does not know how to cut womens hair. I asked for a V-cut with face framing layers. I showed her pictures and told her about 5 times that I wanted a V-cut and face framing layers. She gave me a straight cut and no face framing layers. She did not do anything that I asked for. She gave me the worst haircut I've ever gotten. She had some small cheap scissors that looked like she got them at the dollar store. She butchered my hair. She did whatever she wanted or what was easiest for her to do. Apparently she does not understand English and does not know how to cut hair. I regret getting my haircut with her. Even the straight cut she gave me is not straight its butchered. The line is not straight. She did not use heat protector on my hair during blow dry. Halfway through my blow dry I asked 3 times for heat protector and she refused to use it. At the end she only used 1 drop of hair oil for my whole head. This is my last time with hair cuttery there is an apparent language barrier with all their hair stylists and they never do what you ask for. What a waste of my time and money. Never again. Pictures below is what I asked for vs what I got. Sofia did a terrible job.

  My 13 yo daughter requested a few inches off of her hair, which was very long and had dead ends. She wanted like 3 inches cut off. It was almost to her waist. When the stylist was done, her hair was a couple inches past her shoulders- WAY shorter than requested. My daughter asked the stylist several times to not cut any shorter, but the stylist kept going. We have come to the Hair Cuttery for years bc her haircut is simple- straight hair straight cut across. That’s it. No layers, nothing fancy. This was awful- she did not listen to my kid. We will not be back.
