  This is my preferred Great Clips location because it's close to my home. Sunday, August 9th, was by far one of the worst experiences; the stylist was definitely struggling with a mid fade using a 1/2 guard taper. She said that my haircut was by far one of the most difficult she'd ever done. I'm not sure how I get the same haircut all the time, and they have my notes in their system. Also, when she asked me if the haircut looked good, I asked her to kindly cut a little bit more of the top and blend in the fade a little bit more, which she sighted and made it sound like I inconvenienced her. I left it at that and said it was alright; she clearly doesn't know how to cut a fade on straight hair. I got up, paid, and tipped for my haircut. The next day, I returned and requested a different hairstylist, explaining what had happened the day before; she gladly agreed to fix my hair.

  We have been coming to this salon several times, and overall the ladies who have helped us in the past have always been very kind and professional. However, for about the last three visits, we have had the same stylist, and our experience has been very disappointing. Every time she has cut my husband’s and my son’s hair, she insists on doing the haircut the way she wants instead of listening to what the customer is asking for. She often says that she can only do the haircut “her way” and constantly finds excuses instead of trying to work with what the client wants. My son is only two years old, so it is completely normal for him to move a little during a haircut. Unfortunately, this stylist has shown very little patience and understanding with him. She has cut his hair twice before, and both times her attitude was very negative. Today was the worst experience. After we waited about 15 minutes, she told us in a very rude manner that if my son moved, she would not cut his hair. The issue was not only what she said, but the way she spoke to us and how unprofessional and unfriendly her attitude was. We understand that cutting a young child’s hair can be challenging, but good customer service means being patient, respectful, and willing to work with families instead of making them feel like a problem. It is unfortunate because the other stylists at this location have always treated us very well. We hope management takes this feedback seriously because one person’s attitude can greatly affect the experience of loyal customers who have continued coming to this salon.

  Absolutely horrible experience. Avoid this place at all costs. Yesterday I went to this Great Clips location, and I was helped by an older woman who was unbelievably rude, arrogant, and clearly miserable. From the second I walked in, she kept giving me dirty looks, as if helping customers was the last thing she wanted to do. For anyone who doesn’t know, Great Clips keeps your haircut history in their system and prints out your previous haircut when you check in. Before she even asked me a single question, she was ready to give me the exact same haircut as last time. I politely told her that this time I wanted something different and tried to explain the style I was looking for instead of the one printed on the paper. She immediately started ignoring me, rolling her eyes, and making annoyed faces. I even asked her if she understood what I was trying to explain, and she answered in a very disrespectful tone, “No, I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, I showed her a picture of the haircut I wanted. She barely looked at it, turned away, and said, “I don’t know why you’re here. You don’t even need a haircut. Nobody is going to notice any difference. If you want, I’ll cut it, but it won’t be the haircut you want. That’s it.” At that moment, I realized I wasn’t about to let someone with that attitude touch my hair. I thanked her and got up to leave. As I was walking out, she actually yelled at me, “Why did you even come if you’re just going to leave? Don’t ever come back!” Don’t worry—I never will. This was the last chance I was willing to give Great Clips. Customer service like this is completely unacceptable. No customer should be treated with disrespect for simply asking for a different haircut. Thankfully, not everything was bad. Right across the street I found G.O.A.T. Haircut, and the difference was incredible. The price wasn’t much higher, but the customer service, professionalism, quality of the haircut, and overall experience were on a completely different level. If you’re thinking about going to Great Clips, I honestly recommend looking for a better alternative instead. You’ll likely have a much better experience elsewhere.

  I signed in online, we were seen pretty quickly considering there was already people in the chair, definitely didn't mind waiting. I asked for a missionary haircut. I got 2 lengths too long after expressing I wanted it shorter a few time then I just gave up. However Deana was amazing she listened she did her best. It was for my nephew he is hard to hold still so I am giving her so much credit for just dealing with a wiggle worm.. will I go back probably. I usually go to jaes Barber shop however they were closed. Im grateful my nephew got his haircut. If I can't get into my barber's before school starts I'll probably go back .. thanks Deana you did your best.
