Massage and reflexology was amazing. We decided to stop in, while traveling thru. They were able to get all three of us in right away.

I’ve debated giving a review but for the experience & the cost I felt others need to know. My normal massage therapist I see canceled that day & I had severe tension in my neck & shoulder blades so I figured I would see if somebody could fit me in. I get a massage every other week due to chronic pain. I read the reviews & saw that they were mostly positive & thought this would be my experience too. Only as long as you see Kelly tho- all reviews about her are great. I don’t know who I saw. However the reviews of other people saying best massage ever etc I don’t understand. How? First thing when I walked in the door, she asked cash or card? Then said 3.00 feet for using a card & put her hand out for the card. Never in 20+ years of getting massages have I ever been asked to pay upfront. And that was the first red flag that made me feel very uneasy. She charged my card & then said you can sign it at the end of the appointment. Then took me into one of the rooms. Very dingy. It seemed to be a diff type of mattress on top of Some type of setting. It was not a traditional massage table where you have a separate section for your head that can come off & is padded for your face. They had a half moon shaped pillow that was very old& deflated & seemed dirty. There was zero padding to it. When I moved the paper towel there was a small cut of a hole in the table. I ended up tearing it in half because I didn’t know how I was going to breathe face down into a paper towel? uncomfortable, not sanitary. Then she started the massage & I was not under the impression the Swedish Massage that I booked would be a dry massage for 20 to 30 minutes. I have never had a massage like I did here this day. I have been getting massages for years in various types of establishments & this was a first & by far the weirdest and worst. The first 20 minutes was massaging over the sheet aggressively up & down the arms and legs just over & over with no rhythm or sense of fluidity to it. Same spots over and over. I questioned if this person was licensed. I was getting ready to make an excuse that I needed to leave & honestly I should have. However, right when I was getting to say something she then brought out some oil so I thought OK maybe this will get better. Maybe she can work out the knots in my neck and shoulder blades. I decided not to leave. The remainder of the massage was not great, not traditional massage moves again it was as if someone who never had given a massage before was attempting. I am not exaggerating but at least now there was oil & my skin wasn’t getting rubbed raw & was less painful friction. The dry massage was very uncomfortable & hurt & my skin was lightly bruised to the touch for several days after. There were a couple of other things with the Massage again that was very different than what I’ve experienced as far what you’d expect from an experienced massage therapist. I reluctantly stayed. should’ve stuck with my initial instinct. When the massage was over I looked at the clock & seemed to be done about 8 min earlier than schedule time. something to note. when I came out to sign my receipt, she pointed to the wall where they have gratuity printed out listing all their tip amounts for all the different massages. She pointed to the 90 min line & then pointed to the $40.00 tip amount listed. For 90 min they expected a $40 tip. I hesitated & didn’t know what to do because I found it very aggressive. I see another review on here that says they experienced the same thing & were bullied into giving more! Again the reviews?? Very forceful, very intrusive. I ended up just tipping the $40
The price for the 90 min was $115.00. I will always tip a min 20% on my massages more if warranted. So they demand you tip 35% of the charge. I’m very upset that I didn’t push back because it ended up being an outrageous amount of money with the 40.00 tip added in & for the quality that I received, I almost want to dispute the charge. unfortunate & extremely disappointed & my neck pain & shoulder pain was made to hurt worse after the aggressiveness.

The massage itself was well-executed, and the staff were attentive and accommodating throughout the service. However, I want to flag something prospective visitors should be aware of: a tip of approximately 30% is strongly expected. When I did not offer that amount, I was met with a reaction that felt dismissive and pressuring — which I found unprofessional. A tip, by definition, is discretionary. If a specific gratuity is expected, I’d suggest building it into the service price rather than placing that burden on the customer in a way that can feel uncomfortable. Overall, a mixed experience — great massage, but the tipping situation significantly impacted the visit
