Embark on a transformative journey to reclaim your crowning glory with our advanced hair restoration services at Alchemy. Our offerings include cutting edge treatments such as platelet rich fibrin (PRF), exosome therapy, and the rejuvenating Keravive treatment. Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) / Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) PRF and PRP are therapies that harness the regenerative power of platelets to stimulate hair growth. During these treatments, a small amount of the patient’s blood is drawn and processed to concentrate the platelets. Platelets contain growth factors and other bioactive proteins that play a crucial role in tissue repair and regeneration. When applied to the scalp through injections or topically by way of microneedling, PRF or PRP release these growth factors. They stimulate the proliferation of hair follicle cells, improve blood flow to the hair follicle, and prolong the hair growth cycle. Ultimately, PRF and PRP therapies create a more conducive environment for hair follicles to thrive, resulting in enhanced hair thickness, density, and overall growth. These treatments offer a natural and minimally invasive approach to addressing hair loss concerns. Exosome Therapy Exosomes are small extracellular vesicles derived from stem cells. They play a pivotal role in promoting hair growth on the scalp. When applied during a hair restoration treatment, exosomes contain growth factors and signaling molecules that stimulate cell communication and regeneration. This encourages the proliferation of hair follicle cells, strengthens existing hair, and promotes the growth of new, healthier strands. The regenerative properties of exosomes make them a promising and innovative solution for enhancing hair growth, contributing to a fuller and more revitalized scalp. Hydrafacial Keravive Treatment Keravive treatments by Hydrafacial stimulate hair growth by focusing on scalp health. This relaxing 3-step treatment is designed to cleanse, stimulate, and nourish your scalp and hair follicles for fuller, thicker and healthier looking hair. The infusion of nourishing ingredients supports a healthier scalp environment, promoting improved blood circulation and enhancing the overall condition of the hair follicles. This, in turn, creates a more favorable setting for robust and sustained hair growth. Our skilled professionals will tailor these innovative solutions to address your unique needs. Your path to vibrant, revitalized hair begins here!

LATISSE® eyelash enhancer is the first and only U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved cosmetic treatment for increasing the length, thickness and darkness of eyelashes. Available only through prescription, it is applied once a day to the base of the upper eyelashes. Results may be apparent within four weeks; full results take sixteen weeks. Exactly why LATISSE liquid solution causes eyelashes to grow is unknown. However, its active ingredient, bimatoprost, seems to increase the number of hairs in, and the duration of, a hair follicle‘s growth period. The result is longer and fuller lashes. Once LATISSE treatment is discontinued, its benefits gradually end. Application of LATISSE Solution LATISSE solution is applied at night. Contact lenses and makeup are removed, and skincare products applied, before using the LATISSE solution. To prevent contamination, the LATISSE solution is applied with a single-use disposable applicator. The applicator, which is coated with one drop of solution, is applied to the base of the upper eyelid, at the lash line. The applicator is moved from the inside of the lash line to the outside. Excess solution is blotted to prevent its spreading to other areas. A separate applicator is used for each eye. Contact lenses can be put back in 15 minutes after LATISSE treatment. Candidates for LATISSE Treatment Anyone who wants longer, fuller and darker eyelashes may be a candidate for LATISSE treatment. Those who have eye infections, or broken or irritated skin on their eyelids, or who use products for elevated intraocular pressure, should not undergo LATISSE treatment. A doctor-performed full medical history is taken prior to the start of LATISSE treatment. Side Effects of LATISSE Treatment The common side effects of LATISSE treatment end when treatment ends. Side effects include the following: Eye itchiness Eye redness Skin-darkening Eyelid redness Eye irritation Eye dryness There is one potential serious side effect of treatment. According to the manufacturer‘s website, LATISSE treatment “may cause increased brown iris pigmentation of the colored part of the eye which is likely to be permanent,” although its occurrence is “very infrequent.”

Microdermabrasion is a minimally invasive skin-exfoliation procedure designed to treat sun damage, scars, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. In addition to its cosmetic benefits, microdermabrasion helps to enhance circulation and lymph flow. Results are immediately visible, and there is no downtime for the patient, who can immediately resume regular activities. Performed in-office, microdermabrasion does not require anesthesia, and can be combined with other procedures such as chemical peels or laser treatment. Microdermabrasion is a much less invasive procedure than dermabrasion, which is used to treat more serious skin problems. Dermabrasion, in which several layers of skin are removed, is considered a surgical treatment. The Microdermabrasion Procedure During the microdermabrasion procedure, which is usually performed by an aesthetician, a handheld device is used to transmit tiny crystals of aluminum oxide across the targeted treatment area. The crystals and dead skin are then suctioned away with a vacuum tool, revealing fresh underlying skin. A treatment session can last from five to 60 minutes. The results of a single microdermabrasion treatment are temporary. For continued improvement, treatment should be repeated every 2 to 4 weeks. Risks of Microdermabrasion Microdermabrasion is considered safe for all skin types, and is appropriate for Asian and dark-skinned patients who may be at risk for skin discoloration with other types of treatment. There are no serious risks associated with microdermabrasion, although some patients experience mild redness and irritation, and patients older than 70 may have a slightly escalated risk of bruising and skin abrasions. Avoiding sun exposure after microdermabrasion is important because it may have removed some of the skin‘s natural protection. In patients who have a history of cold sores, undergoing microdermabrasion may reactivate the virus that causes them. In those cases, avoiding treatment around the lip area and/or taking preventative antiviral medication prior to treatment may be recommended.

Alchemy is proud to offer PDO Max threads! Did you know that PDO thread lifts have spiked in popularity over the last year, experiencing a 72% increase between 2021 and 2022? Thread lifts are a minimally invasive way to lift sagging cheeks, support unwanted jowls, and reduce the impact of common fine lines & wrinkles (such as pucker lines, crow’s feet, glabellar lines, frown lines, and so many more). PDO threads also boost collagen production once implanted, improving skin quality and skin health for up to 2 years, even after the threads dissolve. This is a beautiful treatment option for patients who aren’t quite ready for a facelift yet. In addition to the lifting threads, we also offer an array of smooth PDO threads that are designed to stimulate collagen, improve crepiness, and support the skin, rather than immediately lift or reposition the skin. Smooth threads easily glide under the skin and are practically painless! Popular areas for smooth thread placement are crow’s feet lines, vertical cheek lines, frown lines (the 11’s), and nasolabial folds. We recommend this treatment every 4-6 weeks for a total of 3 to 5 treatment sessions when targeting a certain area. Smooth threads are often used in combination with other treatments we offer at Alchemy, such as dermal filler.

For many years, the medical community has been acutely aware of the body’s natural regenerative qualities. Physicians across all fields, including orthopedics, dentistry, and sports medicine, have implemented protocols that work synergistically with the body. The use of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is common for promoting joint recovery and managing degenerative disease. It was only a matter of time before science discovered the value that PRP held for the body’s largest organ: the skin. We are pleased to offer PRP treatments to help our patients address their cosmetic concerns. What is PRP? PRP, or platelet-rich plasma, is an organic substance that has long been advocated for its ability to facilitate tissue regeneration and wound healing. The substance exists in every person’s blood, which makes it safe and convenient. PRP is obtained through a simple blood draw and centrifuge (spinning) process. Centrifugation of the blood separates nutrient-rich platelets from red blood cells and other product. Platelets are valuable because they contain a large number of growth factors. These include epithelial and vascular epithelial growth factors as well as fibroblast and connective tissue growth factors. Each type of growth promotes vital processes such as inflammatory response, blood vessel regeneration, tissue remodeling, and cell proliferation. What are the benefits of platelet-rich plasma injections? The growth factors contained in platelet-rich plasma are involved in almost every regenerative process in the body. When PRP is injected just beneath the skin, it stimulates collagen proliferation through which a number of benefits occur. PRP injections add volume to areas of the face that have begun to droop or atrophy. The cheeks can be rounded out and under eye hollows that cause dark circles and bags can be softened. Due to ongoing collagen remodeling, PRP injections also promote softer, smoother, tighter skin over time. Injections of platelet-rich plasma are also beneficial because they are safe for all skin types and tones. The organic nature of treatment, using your own blood product, significantly reduces the potential for side effects such as allergic response. How does PRP work for aesthetic rejuvenation? Platelet-rich plasma is used in two ways to improve the appearance and overall vitality of the skin. The product may be injected beneath wrinkles, hollows, and areas of deflation and it may also be applied topically in a gentle microneedling procedure. The way that PRP improves texture, volume, and radiance is by inducing numerous regenerative processes. The various growth factors that exist within blood plasma provide essential proteins, electrolytes, hormones, and other nutrients to the skin. Proteins are integral to the formation of fibrin polymer which lays a strong foundation for firm, youthful tissue. Platelets within the plasma naturally respond to injuries in the body, prompting accelerated tissue regeneration through vascular and cellular regrowth. How long do PRP injections take? PRP treatment with injections takes only slightly longer than an average injectable treatment. We begin with a standard blood draw. If desired, a topical numbing cream can be applied to the treatment area while blood is processed in the centrifuge. This takes just a few minutes. The provider carefully observes the face and may mark areas where injections are recommended. The entire process is typically complete within 15 to 20 minutes. Microneedling with PRP is also brief, taking approximately 30 minutes from start to finish. What happens after the PRP Procedure? Patients can resume normal activity immediately following their PRP procedure. Slight redness and swelling should be expected. Some patients notice minor bruising. These side effects typically disappear within the first day after treatment. How long will it take to see results? Patients who undergo microneedling with PRP may notice an immediate boost in the radiance and softness of their skin. PRP injections work beneath the surface to restructure the collagen matrix in superficial tissue, so results from injections alone become more noticeable after a few weeks. As healing mechanisms increase, patients notice improvements such as: Smoother texture due to improved collagen formation. More radiance due to new blood vessel formation. Fresher, younger-looking skin due to the influx of vital nutrients. What are the advantages of PRP vs. other injectables? Studies have indicated that patients treated with platelet-rich plasma facials and facelifts find that their results continue to improve over time. Several months after treatment, the effects of cellular regeneration may be even more noticeable than they are right after microneedling or injections. This is because plasma stimulates cellular activity in which collagen and elastin are remodeled.

Welcome to Alchemy Aesthetics, where transformation meets precision. Our Botox injection services are meticulously crafted to redefine beauty through tailored treatments designed to enhance your natural allure. This treatment, although quick and easy, may seem like a simple procedure to perform because it’s just a few needle pokes, but it’s actually a beautiful blend of art and science that only an experienced healthcare professional should deliver. Our industry is flooded with healthcare providers wanting to offer these neurotoxin treatments, but it takes years of full-time experience for an aesthetic injector to develop and perfect their craft. It’s essential that your healthcare provider understand facial anatomy and the 43 muscles of facial expression, so they can accurately deliver the injections and optimize your results. At Alchemy, we believe that our experienced, artistic approach to our aesthetic injections is what sets us apart. Facial aesthetics and skin health is the only service we dedicate ourselves to, and our 20+ years of experience is reflected in the natural, beautiful results we give our patients. Dysport, Jeuveau, Botox, and Xeomin are most commonly requested for the vertical lines in between the eyebrows (the 11’s), the forehead lines, and around the eyes to soften or eliminate the crow’s feet lines. We also offer this treatment for more technical areas, like bunny lines, gummy smile, down-turned corners of the mouth, chin recession and dimpling, jawline lifting, platysmal banding in the neck, masseters (for jaw clenching and tension), temples (for clenching and tension), and for the trapezius muscles (traps), for upper back and neck tension. Super sweaty armpits (hyperhidrosis), hands and feet can also significantly benefit from these botulinum toxin injections!

It used to be that the only way to get all kinds of results for your skin was to undergo a variety of different procedures. However, the HydraFacial has changed the way that the cosmetic industry works by combining the ability to cleanse, exfoliate, extract, hydrate, and replenish the skin’s antioxidants with just one procedure. What Is a HydraFacial Good For? HydraFacial’s aren’t just a nice way to schedule a day for yourself at the spa. In fact, HydraFacial’s are good at treating patients who want to have fresh glowing skin, get rid of acne, improve tone and texture, and just look good for either every day or right before a big event. Who is a Candidate For a HydraFacial Treatment? One of the best things about the HydraFacial is that it’s designed for patients with all skin types. So, if you have dry skin, oily skin, or regular skin, then the HydraFacial is good for you. What Can I Expect From the HydraFacial Treatment? Unlike chemical peels or laser treatments that come with a little bit of pain and discomfort, one of the unique benefits of HydraFacial’s is that they are pain free and actually quite relaxing. So, during your HydraFacial appointment, you can literally sit back and relax. The HydraFacial treatment goes as follows: Step 1.Cleansing and Exfoliation. Dead skin cells are removed to reveal healthy new skin. Step 2. The skin is infused with a glycolic solution to help purify the skin Step 3. Blackheads will be removed and pores will be cleaned with an automated extraction device that uses vortex suction. Step 4. Antioxidants and Hyaluronic Acid are infused to nourish and protect the skin. How Often Should I Get a HydraFacial? Until you start seeing consistent results, you should come in to our office and get a HydraFacial every two weeks. Then, afterward, you can come in around every month. Are There any Side Effects or Downtime After the Facial? No! Unlike other treatments. there is no recovery or downtime after a HydraFacial which means that you don’t have to worry about any recovery. Can I Receive a HydraFacial if I‘m Pregnant? Unfortunately, because HydraFacial’s use antioxidants and hyaluronic acid to nourish the skin, they are not safe for women who are pregnant or nursing. Can a HydraFacial be Combined With Other Treatments? It depends on the types of treatments that you want to combine with your HydraFacial. During your initial consultation, you and your skin care professional will create a customized skin care plan that’s designed for you and your skin type. Are you ready to learn more about the unique benefits of HydraFacial’s or are you just ready to sit back and relax while getting cleaner, healthier skin? If so, contact our office today and schedule your HydraFacial consultation at our office!

Chemical peels remove damaged outer layers of skin to make skin smoother, reduce scarring and remove blemishes. Ranging from mild to strong, there are three types of chemical peels: alphahydroxy acid (AHA), trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and phenol. The strength of each peel is tailored to the patient. Peels can be combined with other procedures, such as facelifts, for additional improvement to skin. Chemical peels may be covered by insurance if they are performed for medical rather than cosmetic reasons. Chemical peels are performed in a plastic surgeon‘s or dermatologist‘s office, or an outpatient surgical center. Anesthesia is not required because TCA and phenol have anesthetic properties, and AHA produces only a slight stinging. Chemical Peel Procedure During a TCA or phenol peel, the skin is cleansed and the solution is applied, which may cause a brief stinging sensation. Petroleum jelly or a waterproof adhesive tape may be put on the skin following a phenol peel. During an AHA peel, the skin is cleansed and the solution applied; there is no need for post-peel ointment or covering. Side Effects of Chemical Peels A phenol or TCA peel can result in tingling or throbbing, reddened skin, a crust or scab, and significant swelling that lasts, depending on the strength of the peel used, about a week. With a phenol peel, eyes may be swollen shut at first, and the patient may be put on a liquid diet and advised to keep talking to a minimum. Any tape used is removed after a day or two. AHA peels can cause temporary stinging, redness and irritation, as well as flaking or crusting. After a chemical peel, it is essential that the skin be protected from the sun.
