  I would not recommend Avanti Beauty School Salon based on our experience. I booked an appointment for my daughter to receive a specialty blue hair color for $65, along with a haircut. Before the appointment, the salon called and asked if I could move our appointment to a later time to accommodate them. I agreed without any issue. When I returned to pick up my daughter, I was told she had a bad reaction to the toner. Instead of the blue hair she had requested, her hair was left with an orange, brassy tint. The only blue they managed to use was on her eyebrows "so they could get some use out of the color"—and those ended up turning green. To make matters worse, she never even received the haircut we had scheduled. Given that my daughter didn't receive the services or results we came in for, I asked the owner if there could be some type of discount. Her response was that they had already used a lot of product, so there would be no discount. We were then charged $85. As I reluctantly paid, the owner suddenly mentioned some type of discount—but by then the student said my credit card had already been processed. The owner made no effort to refund or adjust the charge. After leaving, I had to spend another $40 on hair color and supplies to finish dyeing my daughter's hair blue myself. The most disappointing part of this experience wasn't that the color didn't turn out as planned—sometimes that happens. It was the lack of accountability, customer service, and willingness to make things right. The owner should know better, especially in a teaching environment where clients understand they're supporting students but still expect honesty and fair treatment. Ironically, my 16-year-old daughter had been considering attending Avanti as a student. After this experience, that is no longer an option for us. We'll be taking our business elsewhere, and I wanted to share our experience so others can make an informed decision before booking an appointment.

  I went there about a week ago to get hair tinsel and my hair washed by Chloe. My hair also wasn’t fully dry at the roots. I got about 10 pieces of hair tinsel and most of it fell out within an hour of me getting home. Overall the place was nice, just felt rushed and not completed.

  I have been a customer for 3 yrs at Avanti and every time it has been a perfect hair cut color and style . Today I had Lexie again she was great
