My haircut turned out great, and was the length I wanted. However, I scheduled a curly cut, and received a normal haircut. On the website, it says curly haircuts are significantly more expensive, which I’m used to. When I called to ask for a refund of the difference between a curly cut and regular cut, I was told the prices are the same. I’m happy with my length, but I just don’t think this salon is as knowledgeable about curly hair as I was hoping. If you are wanting a normal haircut, it’s great!

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I went there because I wanted to get my hair done for my birthday. The stylist I was assigned to was rude, and I would not recommend either the salon or the stylist, Erika.
As soon as I told her what I wanted done with my hair, she immediately tried to convince me to do something completely different. She wanted me to get regular highlights instead of balayage and told me it would take 4–5 visits to achieve the look I wanted. She even flat-out said she didn’t feel comfortable doing what I wanted and told me I was being unrealistic with my expectations.
The other thing I found very unprofessional and tacky was being told that she didn’t feel comfortable or that my expectations were “unrealistic.” As a customer, that doesn’t inspire confidence. It gave me the impression that she lacked confidence in her own abilities, which left me questioning why someone would go into beauty school if they don’t feel comfortable performing services that clients are requesting.
Here’s the thing: my sister lives in another state, is a certified hairstylist, and has bleached my entire head to the shade I wanted in a single day. That was my whole head—not balayage. I even told Erika that I had my hair professionally bleached before. Her response was, “Well, it’s not right now.”
My point is that I’ve had it done professionally before and didn’t need multiple follow-up appointments or 4–5 separate visits. I’m also not going to pay $300–$400 each time.
After I told her I didn’t want to move forward with doing my hair, she stormed off and went to the front desk, where she appeared to be whispering and gossiping about me. When I approached the desk, she realized I was standing behind her, glared at me, and walked away.
How tacky is that? If you're going to gossip about customers, don’t do it while they’re present.
Terrible customer service.

I came in at 9 am from spanish fork with my one month old 22 inch blonde hair extensions for a consult to get them color matched a little better. was aware my hair was dry but i’m not the professional so i thought it would be okay to get low lights and that there wouldn’t be any issues. They told me to come back at 2 and they would have the extensions ready but when i got there i was left with my hair wet in the bowl for about 30 minutes and then a additional 2 hours and a half until they told me that the color was too dark and way to cool, and that i may need to buy new extensions.I had already spent 1000+ on these extensions so i was really really emotional because it took a lot for me to afford them. After crying cause my hair was ruined they said because it wasnt THERE hair they couldn’t refund or give me a discount to get new ones. So i left with my hair up to my shoulders and worse than when i came in and ended up leaving at 6…I dont think im going to trust people with my hair again…

This is a hard review to write because on one hand, I experienced some of the best customer service I have ever experience from this salon. On the other hand, my hair is completely ruined.
I originally had a stylist who didn’t get my color right. Even though I was explicit about what I was looking for, she gave me something that wasn’t remotely representative of that. That’s ok! Stuff happens and hair is easy to change colors if it isn’t right. I called the salon, and they were so nice to fit me in with someone else to fix the color. The kindness and grace they showed when I explained that I wasn’t happy with the results was amazing. Really top-notch handling of a tough situation. The second stylist I went to did a great job fixing the original color. It did skew a little orange for the first few days, but it faded beautifully and the color looks great now. However, whatever treatment was done to remedy the color destroyed my hair. I used to have beautiful, thick curls, hair that never really tangled, and a really nice shine to my hair. Now, my hair is dry and frizzy, falling out like crazy, and tangles after 30 seconds of being either up or down. I’ve done hair masks and treatments to try to repair the damage from the chemicals they used, but it seems like nothing will work at this point. I wish someone had told me that fixing the color would cost me years of growing out my hair and would make me feel a loss of a sense of identity because my hair has completely changed from what it looked like a month ago. I’ve gotten highlights and color for 13 years, and I’ve never experienced something like this.
Overall, I’d give the customer service and experience a 10/10. I’d give the technical skills of the stylists a 2/10.

I’ve been getting my lashes done for years, and I can honestly say Myken is one of the best I’ve ever been to in Utah. 🥹
I recently had a baby, and postpartum has been a little heavier than I expected. Walking into her appointment, I didn’t even realize how much I needed that time for myself. From the moment I sat down, she made me feel so comfortable, cared for, and truly see and somehow, she gave me a little piece of myself back. Her attention to detail is incredible. My lashes turned out absolutely perfect full, clean, and exactly what I wanted (if not better). You can just feel how much she cares about her work and the people who sit in her chair. I left feeling refreshed, more confident, and genuinely lighter. I’m so grateful I found her. If you’re looking for someone who not only does beautiful work but also makes you feel like your best self again, Myken is it 🤍
