- DGD GAug 15, 20262.0We went in for the back to school special, unfortunately all 3 of my kids walked out very disappointed. My youngest got the worst hair cut EVER. her bangs are no where near straight and the inspo vs what was delivered are absolutely different. I felt horrible because the stylist was very kind however not too skilled. We will never be returning. I cant get over how horrible it went. 1 was washed the other 2 who have really thick long hair were cut bone dry!!! Theres no way to remedy this other than to wait for grow out so complaining in store was not worth it. Stay away from this location, every thing seemed so outdated. Oh and we had to request for the hair dryer to blow off immense amounts of hair left on clothes. Just sloppy all over.
- KKKristenMay 15, 20261.0After years of going to JCPenney’s for haircuts, I also changed stylists because of the extra charge for long hair. No other salon has ever done that. Basically you booked the appointment at agreed upon price and they just tack on an extra $20 at the END Because you have long hair. I usually tip about $20 and considered removing the tip if they did it again but I decided I just didn’t want to deal with it. I got my haircut someplace else for a lot less money and an equally good cut. I don’t recommend this place. They are incredibly overpriced. A haircut is a haircut. I only needed a couple inches taken off. Nothing special just a very basic haircut…cut off 1-2 inches. Simple that’s it! And they charged me $20 extra because my hair is long! And it’s not that long it’s like shoulder length like regular long length hair! I thought it was just this one salon, but evidently it is a JCPenney wide policy. I went to different JCPenney salons, thinking maybe they wouldn’t charge me like that but they did every time. So I just moved my business elsewhere.
