  After years of going to JCPenney’s for haircuts, I also changed stylists because of the extra charge for long hair. No other salon has ever done that. Basically you booked the appointment at agreed upon price and they just tack on an extra $20 at the END Because you have long hair. I usually tip about $20 and considered removing the tip if they did it again but I decided I just didn’t want to deal with it. I got my haircut someplace else for a lot less money and an equally good cut. I don’t recommend this place. They are incredibly overpriced. A haircut is a haircut. I only needed a couple inches taken off. Nothing special just a very basic haircut…cut off 1-2 inches. Simple that’s it! And they charged me $20 extra because my hair is long! And it’s not that long it’s like shoulder length like regular long length hair! I thought it was just this one salon, but evidently it is a JCPenney wide policy. I went to different JCPenney salons, thinking maybe they wouldn’t charge me like that but they did every time. So I just moved my business elsewhere.

  So happy with the results of my color and cut from Michele! She helped me transition my hair when other salons couldn't and I am so thankful that I found her! 5 years later and I still trust her completely with my hair!

  I've been going here for about three years and always to the same stylist. I went in on Friday and said I wanted a cut, not short or pixie, but shaped and something easier to manage. She butchered my hair! It looks like a 5 year old cut it. It's uneven, with a gap on one side. The back is super short with uneven choppy edges. Her attitude was.. well, at least your hair grows fast. I paid $60.00 for a haircut. She lost a customer!

  I wrote a review where the other day about my experience on Sunday at the Salon. Michelle the store manager comped my services and assured me that she would put me with another stylist on my next visit. On Tuesday I called to inform Michelle my hair was lifting from Sunday. Michelle was out I spoke to the store manager she said they were short staff and didn’t have anybody to do my hair I said ok. On today while doing my hair a piece of my hair fell out , I have a sew in that’s attached to a net meaning none of the hair should be falling out (see attached pictures below). I called to inform Michelle the salon manager she was very rude and speaking over me she told me that I should find another salon to goto because none of her stylist will be fixing my hair nor will she comp another service . I asked to speak to the store manager she said she’s not available and it doesn’t matter who I speak to she’s the one that makes the finale decisions. I’m now on the phone with JC Penny Corporate filing a complaint on Michelle . It’s no wonder I experienced a bad experience with her stylist as the Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree with the unprofessional and rude conversation that I had with Michelle this morning the Salon Manager . Everyone has a boss and no Michelle you want be making the finale decision in regards to this hence why I’ve contacted corporate my case number 20241219479630. In my opinion Corporate needs to get rid of Michelle as Salon Manager as she is no help at all with resolving issues.
