- CECynthia EsparzaApr 29, 20261.0Well, when I arrived, there was no one waiting for a haircut. Today is Wednesday, April 29th, at 1:30 PM. The stylist's attitude was abysmal from the very moment we walked in; we waited a while just for her to acknowledge or greet us. A second person—I believe she came out of the restroom—appeared, and they started asking each other who was going to take care of us. One would say to the other, "It's your turn, isn't it?"—as if cutting my 10-year-old son's hair were some kind of emotional burden. The haircut my son asked for bore absolutely no resemblance to what she actually gave him. If you don't like your job, or if you're having a bad day, that is not my problem.

I'm sure the fact that it rained probably kept some people home on a Saturday. The stylist wasn't very talkative, so I just started using my phone. She also had long nails, which I could feel against my scalp (not a good feeling). The haircut itself was OK. But it's those little extras that make you appreciate your stylist.

I was literally the only customer in the shop, yet the barber (an older man) acted like he was in a huge rush and didn’t want to be there. The only thing he asked me was what clipper number I wanted. After that, nothing. No questions, no confirmation, no communication at all. I told him to take just a little off the top. Instead, he cut it way shorter than I asked. Around the ears and neck there are uneven spots and visible nicks like the clipper slipped. It looks sloppy and rushed. The whole haircut took less than 10 minutes, which explains a lot. It honestly felt like he was just doing whatever he wanted rather than listening to the customer. Now I’m stuck with this haircut for the next few weeks. Very frustrating and extremely disapp

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
