  We had such a great experience at Rowan at La Cantera! Everything was very clean, the process was quick and easy, and everyone was so kind and welcoming. Nurse Sam did the ear piercings and was wonderful! She took the time to explain all of the aftercare, including care during sports, and made sure we knew exactly how to properly care for the piercings. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience comfortable and easy. Definitely recommend!

  Worst place ever. I can’t believe they don’t make any time for walk-ins. I’m from Corpus Christi and have tried twice now to get my granddaughter’s ears pierced, but each time they didn’t have time for a walk-in. If you’re planning to go here, make sure you make an appointment, because you will not be served as a walk-in. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I do not recommend this place.

  It was our daughter’s birthday and she been wanting her pierced. We went to Rowan after going to a tattoo shop. We were way more comfortable at Rowan. It was a weekend and busy. They did squeeze us in despite a three hour wait! The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and best of all let our daughter choose how she wanted it done. They made her comfortable and it was such a quick, easy process. Thank You ladies for making her day complete!

  On a whim today, I decided I wanted to get my ears pierced, and they were able to fit me in as a walk in. The woman at the front desk was really helpful in explaining the differences between the different ways of piercing and helped me make an informed decision. Nurse P was the one who did my piercing, and I really appreciated how she took the time to really measure and make sure the holes were even on my ears. It’s a bit pricey, but was worth it in my opinion. Overall a really great experience!

  Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience with Rowan. We drove 2.5 hours each way because we specifically chose Rowan over other piercing options. We believed that having our daughter's ears pierced by a nurse using a needle would provide a safer, more comfortable experience and reduce the risk of complications. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The morning after her appointment, one of the earring backs was missing, forcing us to make another 2.5-hour drive each way to have the issue addressed. Once we arrived, the head nurse informed us that both of our daughter's piercings had been done incorrectly the day before and had to remove the earrings and re-pierce both ears. The head nurse was professional, kind, and genuinely apologetic, and we appreciate how she handled the situation. However, that doesn't change the fact that the original piercings were done incorrectly, resulting in additional travel, lost time, unnecessary stress, and our daughter having to endure the piercing process a second time. Rowan charges premium prices, and with those prices comes an expectation of quality and accuracy. Families should not have to return the very next day because both piercings were performed incorrectly. This experience was upsetting for our daughter and extremely disappointing for our family. We chose Rowan because of its reputation for safe, professional ear piercing, but our experience fell far short of those expectations. Based on what we experienced, we would not recommend Rowan.
