  Since being new to the San Antonio area, I have been needing a haircut! I booked an appointment @6:45p with JCPenney Salon at The Rim. And when i arrived @6:15p. There was no employee in sight at the Salon. I waited patiently until @6:36p and an associate came up front and asked what would I need to be seen for. I informed the employee I was here for a @6:45p appointment I booked. I waited for almost over an hour to be seen. After it turned 8pm “closing time” the stylist Vanessa Ruiz Vee came up and asked “did you request for me specifically” and I told her “not exactly I’m new to San Antonio in this area and I really just needed a haircut and you had the first available appointment today and the stylist made it a point “well it’s closing time but I’ll let the front know I have one cut” she proceeds to sit me in her seat which was dirty and unorganized and she comes back and stated “I’m sorry for the inconvenience but since it’s 8pm and my manager said since we are closed I can’t cut your hair” LIKE WHAT MIND YOU I waited for over an hour to be seen. And I stated “okae, well let me reschedule” still trying to be patient and understanding. And the stylist was like “yeah our receptionist just stated you were just a walk in” and I stopped her and informed her “I had a scheduled appointment for 6:45p” and she was like “yeah my cut before you was long” she gave me the managers information and stated they could try give me a “free hair treatment” if that’s what I wanted that. Like first of all no I wanted my haircut but Like it was just excuse after excuse about her scheduled and that no one informed her of her previous cut. The Stylist Vanessa Ruiz Vee had no sympathy or compassion at all. As this was my very first experience I felt very dismissive and not listened too and just felt overall ignored a brush off the shoulder and rushed just so she could leave. I’m very upset and disappointed with this level unprofessional behavior and costumer service. Below is my confirmed and booked appointment time. They are very unprofessional. The only one who cared and was compassionate and very helpful was Kanar. For her I will leave a separate review.

  MY HAIRSTYLIST DID AN AMAZING JOB i highly recommend ROSE HEREDIA she did so good and as active duty military she sure got me perfectly into regs, i’m very pleased with this place and great customer service, very affordable so it’s worth every penny looking this good and she helped me browse and guided me in product decision making and set me right! 10/10 best haircut #rose

  Literally amazing. Had Ms rose as my hairstylist and she was the sweetest person ever, plus did amazing haircut, style, and highlights. executed my inspo picture perfectly!!! Definitely recommend!
